Current percentage of Nicolive voters that gave the latest episodes of the currently airing Spring cour shows top marks, making for a decently accurate popularity ranking list.
How do their tastes measure up to your own, anons?

The second episode was a lot better than the first. The pacing is still schizo but the cast is good. Half the thread here on /a/ was just filtered by being too stupid to understand the funeral was fake.

Neither are on Nicolive. I think the only show they picked up that hasn't started yet is Aishiteru Game.

NGO is competing with Nippon Sangaku for AOTS and Reincarnation no Kaben, despite the way too fast pacing suppressing its potential, is quite entertaining, but I can’t understand how Ghost Concert would be anywhere near top 3 unless you're only watching 3 shows this season.

Well, even if you don't count Precure shows as continuation of an endless series, it is in its second cour. So I agree.

You sound a little bit jaded so I have a recommendation, check out Megami Isekai, is the only anime that might actually give you a new experience and depending on how it ends might become an absolute classic but is still too early to tell if it is actually going somewhere, in my opinion it is. I'm so fucking impressed.

How do the Japanese love a show that is just shilling basic bitch foods? I can understand westoids watching it, but imagine if Americans had a show that pandered...

NGO is quite visible here in stores though. Amiami, akiba hobby have proper shelf space dedicated to it.
I'm a little conflicted whether I should buy more stuff though since nyalra is no longer involved.

the pacing is incredibly bad. I feel like I'm watching the episode on 2x speed.
its just "thing happens. And then other thing happens. And then... and then..." at breakneck speed.
but i'm still watching for now...
>>

>>287529229
You don't seem to get the retarded system that's being used in OP's/Nicolive's list. The percentage here is merely about whether a show received a perfect 5/5 score vote. Any other score given, be it 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, or 4/5 are all treated as a same "no" vote or perhaps simply "not a 5/5", meaning they treat someone's score of 1/5 as exactly the same as that of someone that evaluated the show/episode as 4/5. Unga-bunga shows watched by extremely polarized voters that only give 1/5 or 5/5 votes will end up with the show's score going up quickly, meanwhile anything with an audience that actually differentiates and also votes for 2/5, 3/5 or 4/5 will drag a show's score massively down.

idk why people get so upset at these threads. And why they want to have the same arguments over what Nicolive rankings actually mean.
These are just thinly veiled "what did you watch this week, anons?"
>>
>>
>>
>>287536447
3 years ago some autist decided OP is an evil troll who makes these threads specifically to harass him personally, so he's been shitting them up on a weekly basis ever since with the exact same posts and questions. Anons tried explaining what these ratings were and how they worked several times, but he just came back next week acting just as clueless as before every time.

>tensura #4 overall, #1 among seasonals in anime TV rankings
>bookworm also makes it into the visible rankings
Yeah, who cares about a few individual streaming services that each have almost entirely different results, when we have anime still doing well in TV rankings? If the comparison was just TV vs all streaming it might have been a different story, but we are talking about all of TV vs a mere fraction of streaming.
That shows that Tensura completely dominates the seasonal anime space as it often even manages to get into the top 5 (including #1 in some cases like danimestore) of steaming AND is the #1 seasonal anime on TV.
Likewise making it so high up on anime TV ranking shows that Bookworm is doing far, far better than its ranking on the streaming sites would suggest.

Yeah, you can have your anime, but what about the author's mental health? Harassment can be pretty dangerous if it gets out of hand—remember what happened to the author of *Sexy Tanaka-san*?

It's fairly obvious. It may as well be a show that depicts someone taking a big long shit on Hatsune Miku for 20 minutes per episode to them

>>
>>287535405
That retarded list gives you absolutely no indicator on whether something is hated, at most it can tell that something is specifically "not hated".
For all you know NGO is rated 36.3% as 5/5 and 63.7% 4/5.

>>

To the Westerners who are used to all the ironic netflix shows and were brainwashed to be inherently biased against idol culture and barely understand it, yes, it serves as great fuel for maintaining that narrative.
To the Japanese, they see the jabs but notice they're quite light. Some people indeed don't like Oshi no Ko for it misrepresenting the situation but it doesn't need big hate. There are so many more series criticizing the idol culture in much harsher ways.
>>
>>
>>
>>287545849
Well, then that's literally what NOT happened. Did you even read your previous post? You claimed that 36.3% show has good chance of having 100% positive marks and to prove that you use a show which had 70% positive marks. Logic where?
Meanwhile most anime have more than 70% of 5/5 alone. You just confirmed that Shibo Yugi is hated far more than majority of anime.
