The pacing feels somehow too slow and too fast. The Ouga, the MC, knows so little about the island's current state, how many types of aliens there are, etc. that it's like he's still in his opening fight, so to speak. At the same time, he has been working with a kid who saw the entire thing go down for weeks, yet somehow this kid knows nothing other than the school having pods, and no one has tried to gather intel before rushing to the next fight.

There probably should have been a chapter between meeting the kid and traveling to the school to set up what's going on more and build some mystery. There also probably should have been some chapters between saving the kid's brother and going to rescue Ouga's sister. Now we're getting talking aliens rushing in for yet another fight before Ouga has had more than one chapter meeting his sister again and while the kid's brother is still out cold and clinging to life on the floor.

To use wrestling as a comparison since Ouga's a wrestler, the story's pacing isn't devoting nearly enough time to promoting the upcoming card for Ouga's next match, what opponents are out there, promo segments about who he's beat and what he's planning on next, interactions between the growing stable, etc. Perhaps meeting the kid's brother and his sister first then having to rescue them from certain aliens would be more engaging.

Because Jump usually has 40-50 pages for ads (which is why there's space to publish 21-22 manga sometimes). And few of these series from other magazines are short manga with less than 10 pages.
Also 6 series in Jump haven't released a vol yet, the other magazines have only few more titles. They all use offset printing which has the same max amount of pages.
