There is something very refreshing about having both MC's be well adjusted human beings; they both seem very competent and capable so far. It is a stark contrast with Himari to whom simply speaking was a great accomplishment and Mitsuki whose weird overattachement to the retard always seemed to hold her back. I also like Aoi's more grounded attitude that doesn't just agree with Inori's enthusiasm, but rather keeps reminding her that granting wishes will not be an easy task. In contrast, Mii would never even think to respond to Himari's enthusiasm with anything other than affirmation and positivity. Inori and Aoi actually feel like friends who are on equal footing, rather than feeling like a mom and her down syndrome daughter like Mii and Himari.
