He's one of those One Piece characters with a good design concept but bad execution on Oda's part. The white curly hair, the horns, the lips, the tail, it all sounds awesome, and there are actual good parts about it, like the tail and the tattoos, but things like the dots on his body and the eyeshape kinda ruin it. I also think the horn placement clashes with the hair and makes his headshape look weird. I think fanart makes him look better than the official shots. And I think Oda should have been more "unique" instead of giving him the standard male one piece headshape and the generic OP nose.

Unlikely but not impossible. I could see it either being right when the series is about to end (like literally less than 30 chapters away from ending) or a little bit after the anime ends. Bandai very obviously doesn't give a shit about One Piece as a gaming medium so the only way I could see them making a large scale game like that is if they could capitalize off of the series' conclusion.

But what a lot of One-Piece-Online wishers don't understand is that Oda HAS to be the one in charge of the game, and it has to be a 7-10 year passion project. The way Toriyama was in charge of DBO, which is why it can't be made anytime soon. When Dragon Ball Online was being made, Toriyama was in charge of designs and had to sign off on every aspect of the game to maintain an authentic dragon ball world. Which was smart because it does feel like an authentic part of the franchise despite the game ending up like it did. One Piece would need that TWICE as much because of how much focus is put on One Piece's vast worldbuilding.

Leaving the game fully up to Bandai and whatever studio they choose is just going to lead to Bamco churning out an empty unreal tech demo with ugly plasticky looking characters, a generic story with dry fanfiction tier worldbuilding (little blips of potential here and there), and the lamest combat system that squanders its potential.
