This is unironically one of the best games I've seen in this category, and it's a shitty platform shooter. These used to oversaturate the market, what happened to those times? But in all seriousness, if they made this open source, or made a level editor/mod support for it (asking for too much, I know) then this could revolutionize the wedgie-game niche market for a while.
