Whenever I want to remember why I should care about protecting the environment I look at the Aral Sea.

Republicans and democrats dont exist
Both are just AIPAC and global aristocracy
The red hand destroys the lands and the blue hand chains the new batch of slaves, insisting to you that they are “refugees” and they “help the economy”, and then both sing in unison
“But you are entitled, and privileged, and have too much, and want too much. You shouldnt inherit. You shouldnt be born into anything. Fucking earn it. You lazy piece of shit. We’ll throw you the scraps needed to keep you working. Or maybe you SHOUD be replaced. Your culture? Invalid, illegitimate, not worth anything. You may as well buy the one we made for you. Your race? Doesnt exist. You are american. Compete or fail. Work for us or die for us. Buy your keep at our price, free man.”
And hop on their private jets and fly away

>claims Republicans put their heads in the sand anytime their side does something bad
>illustrates this point with an image from The Wall Street Journal
lol I don't even really disagree with you but you picked a pretty terrible image to prove your point

the fuck does that specific image being from the wall street journal have to do with the satellite images themselves showing an objective decrease in water level? i think anon was more making the point that the same thing is happening in right-wing utah, just as it did in the left-wing soviet union, showing that ecological disasters occur regardless of political party, which is just pure common sense

/an/ should just be animals as opposed to animals and nature. 90% of non-animal related nature threads like this one are just barely diguised off-topic /pol/ filth getting all over one of the few boards with potential to be good.

So. Much. This. If the Aral sea is still disappearing after Russia became a vibrant, open, democratic society in 1991, it's because of the lingering effects of communism or it was going to happen anyway naturally.
