This. Also, America is actually notoriously expensive to live in. Higher education, healthcare, effectively mandatory automotive ownership and more cost so much but give very little in return unlike our peer nations. Sure, you might make less in most of Europe, but you're also going to be happier, healthier, and actually able to retire at some point before you keel over dead on the job site.

Shows how inefficient or inept US leadership is. Or maybe they just don't care. Every single country listed except Italy has a higher IHDI than USA.

Even when using HDI Canada, Germany and the UK are still ahead. USA could easily be the greatest country in the world to live in, but instead of using the money to make peoples lives better the government just blows it on stupid shit.

and yet, you still can't get Iran to open a stretch of fucking water.
>>
>>948140050
>but instead of using the money to make peoples lives better
If everyone's lives were easy, the most capable ones wouldn't be incentivized to struggle, innovate, and create all that wealth in the first place. It's a bit of a catch-22.
>>948133294
>means nothing if the (((0.01%))) takes all of it
The 0.01% "creates" it all.
Mind you, that's not to say the 0.01% does all the work, nor is the 0.01% smarter. What they actually do is risk-taking, which has asymmetrical upside. America's free enterprise allows people to make the dumbest, most illogical bets possible. Things that everyone says couldn't be done, like making reuseable rockets.
In any case, such charts are not a good comparison of the wealth of its people. If we removed outliers and compare median income-median expenses, this chart would be very different.

Historically speaking, the country with the most powerful military also has the most valuable currency. Its almost like our capitalist overlords realize that our success and happiness in this 250 year old experiment in unprecedented amounts of liberty and freedom knew from the outset what they were doing regardless of maybe a few missteps that they also knew we would make is the best path forward and the most conducive to we the people as individuals long before we were even born.

Having said that, I prefer the older B2 Spirit bomber just for its styling cues while I can admit that the newer bomber is more sleek and efficient.

Rest assured that no matter what you as an individual thinks there are much smarter people on the job 24/7 and that these United States if we're really being honest here are run by think tanks that know what they're doing and not by an red vs blue actor squad led by one highly contested Orange Man as ultimately he along with AOC and all of the other actors are just there to represent us and not to lead us and the true power lies with said think tanks and the career oriented Joint Chiefs of Staff who believe me love this country more than life itself and are committed to ensuring a healthy and prosperous nation more than you could possibly imagine.

Believe that. This shit aint no game.

Not that anon, but if his theory is correct, then Trump is a fall guy.
-Iranian dictator taken out = Win.
-Other middle eastern countries incentivized to reinvest in pipeline project, bypassing gulf = Win.
-US is a net exporter of oil. Higher oil prices during shortage from middle east = Win.
-US is energy independent, causing foreign investors to pour back into US markets = Win.
-Shutting down sources of energy to China, slowing them down in the AI race = Win.
-Russia and China are shown to be unreliable partners = Win.
-Shutting down sale of oil in foreign currency, reinforcing the petrodollar = Win.
-If gas prices remain high, republicans will lose midterms and Trump will become a lame duck president. Lame duck presidencies are typically bullish for the markets = Win.

>this is the most bootlicking bullshit I've heard in a long time.
Except it isnt. Dont hate those that have excessive wealth. Instead hate your own attitude and your own bad decisions and seek to do better.

Lets be honest here. If you had a job making 80k per year and a nice home and car and a big titty goth GF that is ok with becoming your wife you really woudnt be much concerned with how much monies the next guy makes.

Or maybe you would be if you're shallow and narcissistic. Bottom line is this. If you've maxxed out and hit the ideal income and goals and not the maximum which is nothing but greed and excess if we're being honest then you wouldnt care how much the next bloke is making.

There are people out there with Mustangs and Corvettes that are FAAARRRR happier than a very few try hards with very fickle and high maintenance Ferraris and Lambos who pay fucktons of monies just for the labels and aesthetics rather than the pleasure of going fast on a whim per dollar metric that most of todays car communitiy understands intrinsically.

The guy with the 9 second Supra beats the absolute shit out of the guy with the Ferrari thats worth more than you can afford, pal, every day of the week and you know this.

Man.

Winning is winning. And if you can get to the finish line with $14k and kick the ass of the douchebag nepo baby with the $95k used Ferrari then bravo. You win.

Nobody said that couldn't be done. That was an inevitability in space travel. It's just really hard to do.

Boom shaka laka.
>>
>>948141622
You're right. They didn't say it couldn't be done. They just said *he* couldn't do it.
Now, datacenters in space, that surely can't be done! Because vacuums and radiators and physics and stuff.

..and we very well recognise that we must take very good care of our working poor and the working class in general and as a center left democrat and you wont catch me admitting this often as the far fucking left is a fucking disgrace and an affront to God almighty, we need to take very good care of those of us that do the bulk of the work to keep us healthy happy and fed and fuck I dont know where I'm going with this but nuff said and it Friday and I been drinky but everyone who works and contributes should be able to afford to procreate if they choose and we the people should be more forward looking in this regard and fuck Spamberger but at the same time bills must be paid and infrastructure must be funded so fuck I dont know where I'm going with this but fuck the far left and there are only 2 genders and foreigners are no subsititute for born and raised Muricans so maybe Bill Maher was and is spot on despite being das juden or maybe because of it as das juden play all sides therfore they cant lose, IDK.

Long live us goyim and especially white people as we're really good at inventing things. Jussayin.

And if you dont believe in God, thats fine too as I tend a bit towards the agnostic and I have my doubts too even though atheists tend to have no self awareness and come across as insufferable douchebags and they dont trust others to eventually come to their own conclusions even though this is the best path forwards and there is no proof nor disproof and yet the bible is chock full of wisdom and sound teachings regardless of whether you believe in invisible sky persons or not you cant deny that a good moral compass is derived from studying said bible passages and thus humans passages into better people as a whole regardless of what they ultimately choose to believe in and yet I leave it up to you as wisdom is a choice and cannot be forced.

Good luck and learn to think for yourselves and make up your own minds. This is the only true path forward.

You are describing capitalism. This is the way in the large majority of countries. Your view on success seems to be focused entirely on what car someone drives. But even if we focus on that, you can do that in any other country as well. Dictatorship hellholes are the only exception here.

The issue with the US is the lack of safety nets. You can be middle class and still get rekt by an unexpected medical condition resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in bills. Insurances will always try to find ways to not pay. Most personal bankruptcies in the US are a result of high medical bills. This is just one of several issues, but this one is at the highest contrast compared to other developed countries.

And yes, you can argue if you are rich enough not even that matters. This is true, but all the bankrupt people are still a breeding ground for crime and drug addiction. Crime lowers the quality of life of everyone, your fancy Corvette will not protect you from getting a bullet between your eyes so a junkie can use the $50 bill in your wallet for his next high. Crime rates in the US are crazy high compared to most other developed countries. Even when you compare it to immigrant infested cities of Europe like Paris.

>Your view on success seems to be focused entirely on what car someone drives.
Whoosh. Apparently you didnt read all of my comments and that the best and brightest sometimes shun material wealth and the accumulation of money. Again Nikola Tesla and one John Goodenough are the two exeptions that come to mind. Tesla you well know but maybe you arent familiar with the team that pioneered research into the many lithium battery chemistries that your life depends on in so many ways?

I hate that I've got to repeat myself so and suggest you read the threads before commenting as it would save a whole lot of time.

Not fishing for a 1up here just for your edification so that we may in the future meet on a level playing field as none of these achievements are to my credit despite my pale color of skin.

I would argue most of these are false.

Chinas energy production from oil and gas is 4%. Their main sources are renewables and coal. They get coal from Russia and Indonesia. This does not stress their energy production in any way.

Due to recent actions of the US government USA is seen as less reliable and Europe and Canada are focusing their trade deals on China more. Russia has been seen as unreliable way before this.

While US stock valuation and US dollar value have seen a short term bump from this war they remain on a downward trend.

Nice try, booboo. But while Iran was settling some of its oil transactions in Yuan, the recent takeover by the US military has forced their hand and now Iran has no choice but to settle oil transactions via the US Petrodollar.

You're welcome and thank you President Trump.

The strait of Hormuz is now 100% under US military control. If you are a US citizen congratulations, your gas prices will continue to decrease as will whatever temporary inflation caused by the brief interruptions in the shipment of goods thru the straight of Hormuz.

You're welcome.

Love him. Hate him. Dont care. Facts are facts.
