I am not convinced that rape is always some horribly traumatizing event that a person never recovers from. I fully believe rape is something a person can easily get over, almost like scraping your knee or rolling your ankle.

I think it depends and can sorta go either way.
maybe not as insignificant as scraping your knee but it dosent always cause severe trauma
