Will that demand stay high as new sets come out? Vintage has a proven track record. I do think there is a place for specific chase cards/promos but most modern mid/low tier cards will die in the long run imo

Why is Vending Snorlax going up so much in price. Only last month a PSA9 was $400 now it's like $2000 what the fuck is happening? Why are some cards doing this and whats next?

I see this shit and I no longer wonder why birth rates are declining

went to the London card show today, was pretty lit market is 100% going upwards. Was also at Stratford TG Jones in the morning for the 9AM release, there was about 200 people there and they only had literally not even lying 11 ascended heroes first partner mini boxes. Situation is pretty bad Ascending heroes ETB's are up to about £130 now, which is making me feel a lot better about buying 30 or 40 of these things at £90 only a few weeks ago

i'm actually surprised regarding the amount of vendors that sell trash and people that walk in and buy it. This seems pretty profitable.
Looking the way the market is going and at these card shows FOLLOWING THE MONEY future TOP cards that those who know what they are doing seem to be accumulating, there is something super interesting with JAPANESE PROMO CARDS, ANYTHING VINTAGE MISAKI PROMOS, COROCORO / VENDING SERIES IN PARTICULAR. DYOR these cards seriously have the pontential to X10 in the next 5 years and are pretty hard to come by even at one of the biggest card shows in the world. Theres definitely

Some people just want Pokemon they like.
Just as with art, it can be subjective sometimes.
Think of US silver coins. Many set up at gunshows and people pay above-market rates for the coins.

This is the way. Buy the best you can afford and don’t be afraid to lowball sellers on eBay. Bgs slabs are good if you have a nice 9.5 although PSA 10’s don’t really have a ceiling. Nobody wants my 9.5 ditto. Don’t buy 8’s unless it’s a mega high end.
