How is that even possible? Almost 50, never saved, never once contributed to a workplace pension scheme?
>>
>>62121602
This is basically 99% of non boomer americans now. Let them deal in the real world.

She's not fucked. Women with including ones that hit the wall just marry men who take care of them. My wife's sisters galavanted until they were early 30s, saved nothing and get rewarded with some simp doing anything for them
>>
>>62121614
This one's expired, anon. Almost 50. Even if she somehow looks ok now she'll be falling apart in the next few years.
>>
>>62121614
is this an American thing? surely there's not enough simps for all of them?

>>
>>62121666
thanks for your retarded opinion satan, but people should learn from others mistakes to improve their own situation out
that's called learning
$900 saved at the ripe age of 49 is pretty fucking brutal, the rest of her life will be extremely difficult
>>
>>62121602
>and I know I can't be the only one
no, you are. you're a total loser and there are only maybe a few hundred others in america as stupid as you to end up in such a situation
>>62121657
I guess it depends on the cost of living in your area. 150k in equity on a 700k house is shit but there are reasonable 300k houses in some parts of the country
>>
>>62121611
NEVER feel sorry for poor Americans. If you're poor in America it's because you're a low-IQ hedonist.

I grew up in a trailer in rural Ohio and work in a factory as a basic wage slave with no degree. I'm in the top 7% of wealth for people in my age bracket.

I can’t really make myself feel better by comparing to people doing worse. Even if I’m technically in like the top 10%, I just don’t think about the other 90%, my brain goes straight to the people doing better than me.

Because of that, I sometimes end up feeling like I’m at the bottom anyway. Then once in a while I look back and realize how far behind some people actually are, which is kinda weird, because I don’t see myself as being top-level at anything.

I am in flyover country... I paid 185k for my house, got 60k left to go and its "worth" 225k on Zillow, but my two neighbors adjacent to me just sold for 260k last year, Id have to make some updates to get that though.

You know what's funny si that I think this tweet is from 2022 so this former-prostitute is way more fucked now than she was then.
>>
>>62121683
I mean
You probably bought bitcoin low or something but yeah, the average woman is a retard who constantly spends money going on trips. Know a streamer/nurse/whore making 150k who never has any money because it all goes to her new york apartment and vacations with the girlies.

I don't like women anymore. I used to like them. But dating them made me realise I don't like them hard enough to be able to put up with their bullshit.

This sucks because in the end, being alone has its risks. For example, I broke my ankle and it was pretty hard to get by around the house. You will get old and weak and it can be complicated. I know all the risks. But I just can't put up with them.

she's looking for a collectivist solution to her problem
she will get it, but it's not the one she's hoping for

Nope, no crypto, no meme stocks. Just worked hard and was frugal. Still have fun and go out every weekend too, it's just the stuff I like doing is free (mostly outdoors), or hanging out at a friend's house. Plus, splitting rent with my mom.

I didn't even start investing until I was 25 because my parents taught me growing up that 401ks, investing and insurance were scams. Then eventually I realized they were both completely broke and financially illiterate, so I shouldn't take their advice. Started studying finance and economics heavily around 24 years old and didn't even start investing or open a 401k until 25. Before than I just had a shit-ton of cash sitting in a bank account.

Current NW is around $600k. I do a balance sheet once a year on Excel to keep track.

I agree with you though about people blowing money.

I know, and then they pull their boyfriend into overspending for a lot of things as well. And pulling him into these long and expensive trips.
But yeah the psychology of "yeah let me just fly to a different country and do the most touristy things, not talk to anyone and just take pictures and videos then come back" needs to be studied. I wonder if the tourist industry people learn from the mobile apps tech industry, lmao

>but it's not the one she's hoping for
can you elaborate?
>>
>>62121683
She's right, and I'm glad that people like Trump are appropriately setting the tone that the government shouldn't be there to bail these people out in the future. People like her will be working at Walmart until age 85.

Idgaf about women struggling financially because they can leach off men and they continue to do so anyways. I'm more concerned about men not having savings and not being able to provide for their women and children.

Lol fuck that woman with no savings, she partied and fucked her youth away on men that were out of her league and she abused their wallets, thinking she could hop from wallet to wallet without any consequences in the long term. If she had committed at a young age, there would be a man taking care of her and he would be the one to worry about money.
>>
>>62121666
Any time women have to be held accountable they just resort to screaming incel at everyone, like it's some magic word that will get men to nit see that she slept around in her youth and now she expects to saddle her medical bills and old she bills on silver unsuspecting actual incel who will fall for her bullshit shaming language, and actually think he's getting a prize. Lol this is why no man should give a fuck about roasties.

Ps. 39, married to a 19 year old who is pregnant with my child, and she chased me down for marriage when she was 18 and a virgin.
>>
>>62121676
She's single and has no savings because of her own hubris. She got used to men just constantly paying her way through life, that's why she's 49, single, hasn't changed her profile pic which is of her in her 30s, with no savings. She's a feminist who jumped from wallet to wallet.

In the eyes of men, she's literally an employee that has jumped from bank to bank, robbing that bank dry, and they expecting the tenth bank in a row to hire her in her old age with her resume that's got all those banks listed as a demonstration of her lack of loyalty to one bank. Every bank sees her as a robber with no loyalty or ability to commit, and every bank is right to be wary of her bullshit.
>>
>>62121657
Pretty far behind
Home equity is nice, but not really consequential until it's paid off or you sell at a good time (although that usually means buying another house in an up market)

I guess it could be worse
