God I hope there's another war. Does that make me a bad person? Ukraine was some of the greatest dips of all time. Now we got Iran. What if there's no more wars?

Covid was great. the tariff dip was easy.

plenty of things unrelated to geopolitics can still drive us off a cliff you know

but the situation is not over?

correct. and if you thought someone would hand deliver a note and tell you "its 100% over you can safely buy the bottom now"... that wont ever happen. no one would sell to you down 10% when the issue is 100% over.

you learned what "the market is forward looking " means now.

No. We will fall off a cliff, and I will be very happy

The biggest influence on the financial market is computers that make decisions based on criteria that you won't have insight to, ever.
It's like the uncle of your friend who lost all of his money on stocks said: to private market participants it's just roulette.

We understand we are even more fucked than before? Oil shock is getting bigger and bigger by the day. Countries are fighting over 1 day of supply kek.

Are you one of those "chinese professor" watchers? Has the silver situation not taught you anything?

The oil Hormuz thing is sorted, America won. The market reflects that.

?
They must be feeding some good propaganda to amerishits. Keep buying stocks before reality sets in. Kekkk

It was random, doesn't really make sense we are hitting ata's while the strait is still closed and the war hasn't ended
>>
>>62123771
Oil production has built in elasticity and this was corrected for weeks ago. America actually ends up making more money than before on this

The "situation" has always been that you've got a volatile orange retard who keeps creating new situations. There'll be another situation soon.

Fun fact, 12 days is the biggest winning streak ever. Only happened once in history.
>>
>>62123848
It didn't have a 12 day win streak. Friday 10th closed lower. The nasdaq is on a 12 day winning streak.
>>
>>62123859
No, even the nasdaq is not on a 12 day win streak

>unexpected war causes drop

There is where your thesis falls apart, the market was tanking long before the war. AI is a bottomless pit sucking up money, there has been zero real job growth since 2022 and private credit funds are blowing up all over. The war was a distraction from all that.

Ok then buy I don't give a fuck. Check back in by the end of May when it's still not open and its the worst oil/fertilizer/gas crisis in history. Wonder what the markets will look like

I find it strange how it crabbed for months and suddenly somehow this causes it to break through the crab and gain ridiculous amounts in some stocks despite no massive changes in the businesses news. Very weird. Well in any case the stock market basically acts like crypto, there will probably be another big dump in a few years again. Strange it behaves so much more like crypto nowadays.

Transmission lag is 9-12 months. Markets are structurally blind to slow moving supply shocks until earnings confirm the damage.
