>>10970289 Anybody else go to this event? I went last night, the One Piece stunt show was awesome, youtube vids don't do it justice. Idgaf about meet&greets but you could see the Sailor Moon taking pics with people and she looked good (costume is from the Super Live stage show). The short film was cute but you could tell it was supposed to be in 3D but being shown in 2D, wonder if they can upgrade the theater at some point if they're going to continue showing these films from USJ there (they showed a Chainsawman one during Halloween Horror Nights and it had the same issue).
>>10970035 Most of the time, the musical costumes usually have petticoats underneath the skirts. This is usually to prevent people from taking pics up the actresses' skirts. Even the Universal Studios Hollywood mascot had one underneath. Also, not sure if anyone noticed this but the costumes are lined with sequins. This is usually to help with the presentation as the when the lights hit the costumes, they have this sparkly effect. >>10970761 It's possible that Universal and Toei had no idea what they were doing when hiring an actress to play her as a mascot. This is why auditions are important.
>>10971083 Turns out the costume they used for that was the one from the Sailor Moon live musical that relaunched last year. Reports said that Toei sent a representative to handle the costume as well. However, they need a recast next time they do something like this in the US.
