How can I make decent looking robot legs for Uzi Doorman cosplay.

I was thinking maybe buy silver tights and paint on them. I've been looking Mettaton cosplayers for reference. How do they add black lines on highly synthetic fabric?

Use a silvery stretch fabric. Put batting/foam between two layers and stitch together to make the ridges.

Good makeup and nice shoes. Remember to always press your clothes properly.

Simple costumes get carried by good fitting, makeup and small details. Learn to contour your face, get good anime/dolly lashes and learn eyeliner techniques if you haven't already.
