I haven’t checked on there in ages, it’s really expensive on there though, I got it for about £8 shipped in Japan. Yeah, it's something like $40, so I'll see if I can't get it cheaper somewhere else, but shota Alastor is beautiful.

I've only ever been attracted to white guys, but I'm ultimately asexual and married, so I think it would be surprising to them to find my daki and collection. If it got back to my dad he'd probably make an issue, but I don't share a lot of my private life with my family for that reason.

I love the idea of Alastor accidentally seducing people he wants to murder. I don't think he would do it on purpose, but he was a handsome and charming man, so it's easy to see how someone could get that impression. I also imagine if he ever found out that the people who followed him into the bayou did so because they thought they were getting lucky, their deaths would be that much more brutal.

Viv put no thought into it making sense. That said, as someone who lives in this part of the world, the woods are a stone's throw from just about anywhere, and odds are he killed them and then transported their bodies to his shack. A guy walking home from a plantation dinner in the 1920s would certainly trot through some muck. As an asexual myself it often goes completely over my head when people are attracted to me, I don't think it's something I could have used to my advantage because it never occurred to me that people were checking me out unless someone pointed it out later. That's a pretty common experience with aces, so I doubt Alastor used his looks to lure people, he probably relied more on charm if anything, or catching people alone. I think if Alastor knew any of the men he killed wanted him sexually he would have made their deaths all the more brutal.

I really wish I'd stayed in contact with my old uni friends, a good few of them are still in Japan. It would make getting merch much easier.

I'm quite good at compartmentalising that kind of thing. Things that Alastor would actually do vs things that are hot in porn. I saw someone say that in the human Al card, it looks like he was assaulted because his shirt is ripped and he looks frenzied instead of calm and composed. It's 100% a scenario I'd read about, but it's a bit much to read into a trading card imo.

No, I'm asexual and only repeating the experience that the overwhelming majority of asexuals have when it comes to understanding other's attractions of them. We never see Alastor trying to seduce Vox or manipulate him sexually. Odds are Alastor doesn't recognize how he affects others in that way.

Iirc only one person posted their cards, they got some of the ultra rares but no secret rares. I hope the figure is alright, I love my nendoroid but one of the antlers popped out while I was taking it out of the box which was a bit shit, they sent me another part but it arrived after I had to go back to uni so idk if it’s any better. A lot of people are saying that the heads snap off the monitor top figures easily too, the necks are really thin and they don’t balance that well so they fall and break. I’m being super careful with mine, but the risk is there.

It's funny because I would force myself into sexual situations whenever I went to parties to feel normal and "fix" myself, but I would never want to go through with anything, nor would I feel anything from it. I’ll be honest I don’t even mind ship hate and seeing someone say they dislike a ship doesn’t bother me but I’m starting to find it really grating how many people are trying to imply someone is morally a bad person for enjoying a ship they don’t like. An example someone saying you’re homophobic for shipping charlastor, are racist if you ship radiostatic, etc. I might be reaching but it feels like it has a sinister undertone where they’re trying to make it socially acceptable to engage in extreme bullying behaviors towards people who ship something they don’t like. I would probably care less about this kind of behavior if we didn’t live in the era of online witch hunts. The worst part is that I wish I could say it was mainly coming from one group but I have seen almost every Alastor ship having members that engage in it and it’s exhausting.

I got bullied a lot for being 'lesbian' because I turned every guy down and generally wasn't interested in dating. Also, if someone doesn't like something and is just trying to avoid it, it's shitty to start shoving it down their throat. That's uh, quite a take. People do get hysterical over the one time Alastor threatened Husk, and forget the rest of the show where they seem to get along fairly well. Husk made a dig that he knew was going to hurt Alastor, bringing up his deal with Rosie. He has to be fairly comfortable and close with Alastor to bring that up. Would Angel do the same with Val? Doubt it.
