Protect and serve human men.

Sorry trannies and blts, it's the rule of the universe. Have a robot, give it a smooth look or woman's voice then it's a woman. Give a robot a man's voice or make it angular, then it's a man. Even an AI with barely a shape (HAL) or no shape at all (Siri) and you just know.

They watched hours of silent Charlie Chaplin movies to learn how to tell a story with no speaking for the first half hour of the movie.
You think modern day CalArts beanmouth idiots could even conceive of something like that?

As an adult, Wall-E's lonesome existence in his "house" filled with all the random stuff he has found and collected just reminds me of my own living situation. Except of course there is no qt girl to whom I could showcase my autistic interests or share my life with.

Stanton didn't stop making movies after WALL-E, anon.

>Robots are technically without genders
No, robots are without sex. They can still be gendered.
Eve, for example, practically screams "female" despite being a machine:
>Named "Eve" (like, duh).
>Round, egg shaped body suggestive of reproduction.
>Programmed to find new life.
>Has what's effectively a womb in her abdomen to store the life she's collected.
They really couldn't be more obvious here.

When I first saw WALL-E, I was stationed overseas at an airbase in Iraq, stuck in the middle of the godforsaken desert, doing a rather boring and monotonous job day in and day out. I watched Wall-E's routine in the first part of the movie and said, "Damn, that's my life right there."

>Round, egg shaped body
Yes
>suggestive of reproduction
No, it's just cause we think of girls as round and curved cause they tend to be round and curved when they mature. Why do people got to take a simple thing and make it bizarre by trying to make it sound way bigger and more significant than it is? "She looks like an egg and eggs are what females shit out so that means she's a girl." Christ.

god the first twenty minutes of this movie were so good, shame it turned to generic love story slop with the most forced 'villain' in all of pixar. shoulda been a short about the dangers of letting the world go to shit and walle just doing his day to day

He might as well have. I’m a John Carter apologist, but have you seen his newest movie? In the Blink of an Eye is so bad it made me lose any hope TS5 will even be decent. A sci-fi movie made by someone who has lost all touch.

The recordings mentioning the procedure for when an EVE confirms life has returned to Earth featured Forthright before he left Earth himself so yeah they were presumably created at the very start of the exodus
Difference being she and the others were probably kept deactivated except for when they were brought out for surveys so she probably only experienced a few years of active time and not continuous centuries like Wall-E or AUTO

Wall-Es were probably a pre existing labor robot or adapted from one
Autopilots probably existed in some form as well before the garbage crisis hit
EVE probes are the machine I can see being created most recently, based on their generally sleek appearance and high tech they possess, plus their purpose not being very relevant for everyday life on Earth
That said, thinking on it now I don’t think EVEs were created specifically FOR surveying Earth. It always stood out as unusual when their full name is read out as EXTRATERRESTRIAL Vegetation Evaulator when their job was to check out a planet that is the DEFINITION of terrestrial. I always just kinda shoved the thought to the back of my mind again but only thinking about it now I figure the EVEs and perhaps their deployment ships must have been part of a program to explore other worlds to test for suitability to be colonized. Maybe BNL shut it down to keep humanity on one planet, or the crisis hit before exploration could begin in earnest. Either way I think the EVEs were meant to explore alien worlds and were reassigned to checking up on Earth

I never noticed how each captain was in command for 120-140 years. Assuming captains take command around 30 or 40, that puts the lifespan of the average Axiom passenger between 150-180 years.
