I'm gonna be honest
If a girl who's into animation in it for the lorefag sense or in tumblr fan sense, that's a turn-off
Not a complete deal breaker but a red flag

This doesn’t happen, but on average I’ve met more normal people obsessed with cartoons than normal people obsessed with comics.
Cartoon fanatics are normally just super autistic people with a passion for animation, even if they’re always watching the most dogshit “it’s totally got lore and isn’t just for kids” shows.
Nearly every comic fanatic I’ve ever known is a huge asshole who is never happy about anything, knows every comic writer on a first name basis and wants them dead, and has impossible quality standards for everything.
The average cartoon fan is a dumbfuck dog who will worship any sloppy shit you put in front of him and defend it with his life. The average comic fan is a mean-ass cat who bites and scratches you for even trying to feed it exactly what it wants.

Are they strictly capeshit fans or are we including 2deep4u snobs?

>They just tend to be more into stuff like Megg, Mogg & Owl than wordy cape stuff.
It kind of depends because they'll be open to comics but they won't actively seek them out
It has to be spoonfed for them first or be part of some fandom for them to get into
They're not checking in on release catalogs or solicitations or anything like that unlike say, them looking up release slates for animation

Millennial girls were raised on tv and cartoons in particular. Their first crush will be spongebob squarepants or invader zim or johnny bravo or hey arnold or something. Meanwhile comic books only have popular representation through more successful media like film and tv.
