nothing will be as strong as original
id try to find a replacement latch. is there any paperwork with you house about the windows? if not youll probably have to pull it and go to the local builders supply not blowes/homeless despot and ask at the contractor counter

Drill two 3/16" dia. x 1/2" deep holes in both sides. Then insert two 1/8" dia. by 1" long steel rods soaked in BJ weld. Push together and clamp.

Bro it's a piece of plastic like 1/8" thick as it is

Plastic is crap and basically unrepairable. Replacement is your best option.

Does it have a maker stamp on it or somewhere else on the window? If not, take a picture of one of the other windows that isn't broken and post it here. Maybe also rotate the image properly.

Op here. It's not plastic. It's a casting, probably aluminium .

Truth hardware awning lever. Replacements are $100 plus a bunch of carpentry fuckery

Thanks. I did some research and it is cast zinc. You might be able to fix it in place by doing what >>2984812 suggested. If that fails your only solution would be to remove the operator. Here is a video with the details:

You might be able to then take the operator apart and replace the handle with something but I doubt it. Maybe just get a cheaper replacement. The crank out style ones are cheaper.

There’s metal in there somewhere. Rip off all the plastic with some pliers and directly interface the lever with a screwdriver or vice grips.

I'd clamp a set of vise grips on there and call it a day

hell yeah, I like that even the dollar store carries them

1 - Figure out the manufacturer of the window. Should be stamped on the glass somewhere, probably in one of the corners.
2 - Go to manufacturer's website and find a local supplier
3 - Contact local supplier and order replacement hardware.
