I have a scalpel that I've been using to cut a layer of skin off my foot. I have to be careful because even messing up a little means ghetes a gash on my foot, and they're pretty annoying.

Dunno wtf you're talking about OP, but I did some foot DIY, did a home surgery to cure an ingrown toenail on my right big toe once.

Is that bare mattress? I forget that the internet is for everyone sometimes.
>>
Yeah, cut out the thick callus skin on the right foot small finger side and cut my nails of course.

I use a razor blade to cut calluses off all the time.

I'm pretty sure they already make tools for that, you just have to swallow your pride and go to the women's section at Target

No target in romania
>>

Don't you lie to me. I've been to Romania. I know they have stones.

Those blades aren't sharp enough to cut thin layers of skin, you need razor blades.
>>
>>2986048
fuck no. I go to a foot specialist.
>>
I just use a pocket knife after a hot shower to loosen up the skin

Or just get a tool made to remove dead skin OP

Get a pumis stone. I used to do what you are doing. I know it's not fun.

This is the kind of stupid shit I visit /diy/ to see!
>>

Why even bother? That isn't enough of a callous to even make a difference. Look at those soft, plump, weak feet...

>Get a pumis stone.

Nah you let the callous get nice an thick then slice it off like a 1/4" thick potato chip. Then chuck it outside so the dog can have a nice rawhide chew.

this image reminds me of the time in which i was removing moldlines from my warnigger 40 million models, dropped the scalpel blade on the floor, scooched my chair back and as my foot slid back the heel of the blade caught on the carpet and fully embedded in my foot to the point where i could barely get my fingers on it to pull it out. all in all the experience hurt a lot less than it would seem, which is hardly at all. for that, i am thankful.

if you're just removing hard skin, get one of those electronic cheese graters. i wear boots with no socks or insole and build up mad callouses on my big toes and they get my toes looking all pretty and suckable again

picrel. electronic cheese grater. anyone suggesting to use a blade is heavily retarded and contributing to your downfall. my callouses get thick enough to where you can rip them off as big as a coin and it still works a treat

I got hand foot and mouth disease from my son a few months back and it did wonders for my skin. Aside from the initial pain, blistering, and peeling, you're left with extremely soft skin after. It even killed my athletes foot completely which I had been fighting for nearly 15 years

I have a pan that I fill with hot water and soak my feet in every few months because I develop horrible calluses. Once they're soft I scrape them with a straight edge knife
