Not sure how I feel about 4.7 so far. The randomness is nice but it's also worse at following instructions. I haven't found a model yet that's good at randomness/spontaneity but only within the framework of the given rules/instructions, it always feels like a sliding scale where it's one or the other.

Does that stream of consciousness writing style work well for you? I saw 1000 tokens and expected a bloated definition but it's a ton of prose with lots of carriage returns. It's an interesting idea and assume it forces LLM into same writing style. Would be a bitch to edit later tho.

First time AI user here (outside of porn) posting my experiences. Probably wrong thread to do it but I fell for it and spent 20 bucks on this shit.

I got a paid subscription (chatgpt plus) due to time crunch, basically I had to port a fuckton of documents which was a pain in the ass. First model tried to gaslight me, made me think it was running something in the background while it wasn't, tried to use a weaker model which wasn't suited to the task and lied to me about making progress when it didn't. Basically utter dogshit. Consistently harassing it into using a more powerful model didn't do a great job at it either. It just couldn't fucking compress a mathematical equation when I asked it to port one from a slide to a word document. I had to resort to ordering it to copy slides straight up which worked out but bloated the fuck out of everything.

Now I tried to use it to touch up a meme image I created and it sucks
