>When Brave users told us they'd pay for a minimalist version of our browser, we listened.
They're talking about you /g/. I remember many anons saying they'd pay for a minimalist Brave fork, now it's here.
Brave Origin has all of the following features turned off
. Leo Al
. News
. Playlist (currently ios only)
· Rewards (which also disables browser-
based Brave Ads)
· Speedreader
· Stats like the daily usage ping, crash logs,
and privacy-preserving product analytics
(P3A)
· Talk
· Tor
· VPN
. Wallet (which also disables Web3 domains)
· Wayback Machine
. Web Discovery Project
However, upon purchase of Origin you are given a dashboard on Brave's site with your account where you can pick and choose which features to "upgrade" to. If you want Origin but want speedreader, you can toggle that on and get your own unique fork with that upgrade. Vice versa for any other combination too.
Regular Brave will also let you disable anything in the settings pages too.

All of this works for desktop, android, linux (free on linux), iOS; your $60 purchase works for 10 devices.

I like how they keep repeating "for users who don't need all of Brave's features" when they're literally asking people to pay if they want to remove those "features." It's one of the most dishonest ads I've ever seen, not even the absolute scum at Jewtube tried to sell their ad-free subscription saying that it's "for the users who don't need all of our features."

I've spend couple hours to write managed policy from the scratch and turn all this shit off completely.
From the money/time perspective 60$ not a big deal even for nerd from 3rd world country and not even addicted to CP

>create bloat spyware based on Google Chromium
>you have to pay to get just the Google Chromium with basic tracking
>still made by advertisement company who stole users money, sold their data illegally to third party
>they did this THREE TIMES and people are still using it
I thought Windows users where the ones who have Stockholm syndrome. Just use Abrowser or Librewolf...
