While I'm already at it, I managed to install FreeBSD 2.1 on a 486, host mgetty, and using a loopback adapter on the host, get dial in and ppp working between two 86box instances.

i don't have x86 box or even know what it is but I have a windows 95 vm that kicks ass and Grok found drivers for it so it 16:9 displays

these drivers make 95 and 98. 16:9

Set it to 1280x720 and upscale virtual box by 50% because if you make it 1600x900 or 1920x1080 or beyond screensavers like After Dark won't cover the entire monitor

better accuracy, at the cost of performance, never tried pcem so cant compare much more than that but i really like 86box's ui, renderers, and binds
