Why are the Chinese so shameless about copying American products?

Copy? They're the ones manufacturing Apple products. They don't have to "copy" anything, Apple gives them the blueprints. American companies have all decided to pay the rest of the world for labor and just sell to Americans.

Back in the early 19th century, London made the finest guns, and subcontracted minor work to Birmingham. Then Birmingham started copying London designs, and passing them as their own, but eventually they started creating their own original designs, and selling them under their own brands. Then, both London and Birmingham gun makers subcontracted to Belgium, and the same pattern of imitating and copying repeated again. Then into Spain, then Italy, and now Turkey.
Phones are the same thing. Apple makes their phones in China, and Chinese industry started copying them. Now the Chinese make phones on par and many times surpassing the features and specifications of Apple's own phones. Chinese labor has gotten expensive enough that China is now subcontracting work to Vietnam.
See how it works?

There are no American products. Everything is manufactured in China, except the small number of things they attempted to move to India.
>but American ideas and ingenuity and """""Intellectual Property""""" blah blah blah
None of that matters if you can't actually make the physical object. Without manufacturing, all you have is mental masturbation.
