Do you just say things that pop into your head that have no basis in reality for fun or something?
This is the Air France airshow crash, there were journalists, dignitaries and contest winners onboard. The pilot misconfigured his auto throttle because he missed his planned angle over the airfield and the plane couldn't throttle up to climb over the woods because of it, there were three fatalities

I looked it up and most onboard were Nepalese (57/72). Only 5 jeets onboard, which was the second most common nationality after Nepal.

Viswashkumar Ramesh is the sole survivor of a June 2025 Air India flight crash that claimed 241 lives, escaping from the wreckage of a London-bound Boeing 787 near Ahmedabad. Ramesh, 39, sustained injuries and severe PTSD after losing his brother in the disaster

I still dont get this. Yeah the first pilot is a fucking retard for letting kids sit in his seat, but the second pilot surely wanted to live and should have been extra alert and basically in the mode of "1st pilot is dead" or like one does during training flights.
Instead he pulled his seat as far away as possible. To take pictures?

They let the autopilot win.
>>30525382
Yeah. They could not get out of the stall spiral.
>>30523784
Is that what happened at >>30523397 ? The pilot of the small plane could not see the big plane due to the angle? Still sad if that's what happened. The crew in the big plane where one moment on a rutine flight... And then crashing down on the next second.

There's been a few good documentaries on this, and it's honestly a combination of things. The guy on the groud who was coordinating the show was known for being bad about it. Instead of a set plan, he would direct ALL the planes involved on the fly, with only a rough outline of what they were going to do. The pilot who ran into the bomber was also pretty new to flying airshows. In the audio, you can hear several of the other pilots involved asking questions and trying to get verification, because the entire display was loosely organized chaos.

Best idea is to call emergency services and get the fuck out of there, but I wanna believe I would go towards the crash.
Airplane crashes are so rare that odds are you won't get the chance to see one close up ever again, it's like a comet or an eclipse.

Japan Airlines flight 123.
On August 12 1985, a Boeing 747 crashed into Mount Osutaka, due to a faulty repair (the tail fell off.) It was the deadliest single aircraft disaster ever, killing 520 people. The subtitles are not perfect.

this one is so sad, literally killed by a shitty riveting job at a repair facility, pilots did their best and kept it airborne for so long but it never had any hope of landing, then the japanese told the us they didn't want assistance searching for survivors and left the dying on that mountaintop for an entire night, there was evidence that some had survived and then succumbed to their wounds and exposure

Look, the pilot could have overrun the runway, and walked away with all the passengers alive, but if he did that he would get yelled at, and maybe even fired. So his only option was to kill himself and the passengers.
>>
>>
>>30520665
The amount of people they threw under the bus to protect the lady in charge of the mission who overruled the tech team asking for an inspection in orbit and refused to tell the commander about the scale of the damage is insane

why not just fly higher and enter low orbit to offset the mass of the metal with gravity?

Read the story on the woman that crashed this plane. I think it was her first flight after training/qual. She ended up just accidentally feathering the props along with however she intended to manipulate flaps.
I forget the details but it sounded about what you would expect from in competence and women.

>>30531557
Bro, all of this happened in the span of like 5 seconds. You couldn't realize what was happening fast enough, much less get out of your seat, run to and open the emergency door and jump out.
There is absolutely nothing you could do to try and survive this. You'd be dead before you could even fully realize what was happening.

I'm guessing he fucked up his landing and was porpoising down the runway, and attempted way too late to go back to full-throttle for a go-around.

It's just a vid one of the astronauts made inside the shuttle. It ends minutes before anything happens so it's boring.

I though the autopsy in the final report to be more interesting. No pictures but they gave a lot of detail on how the guys were found. They did not die immediatly, and some were conscious at some degree during the experience. Probably one of them died when hitting the ground.

the russians are somehow even meeker and more subservient than even americans are
no 9/11 is needed
putin could nuke the entirety of ukraine twice over today and the only thing the average russian would have to say would be something to the effect of
>shh we dont talk about that
>>
>>
>>
>>30535035
One thing I notice in trying to learn more about Russia is that everyone seems to be getting a pension or they're planning on receiving one. It's much more robust than most countries it seems but you can see plainly as an outsider this is done to keep them in line and resources locked up.
>>
>>30535057
yes and no
my grandma gets 150 euro as her pension
modern retired guy depending on what jobs he had will probably receive 5x that amount the thing is in ukraine that 150 euro covers food and shit for the month but in europe she goes 2 times to the store boom money is gone lol

Around the 3 second mark you can see the "bump", caused by something large in the back of the plane shifting around, probably not secured down well enough. This fucks up the weight balance of the plane causing extreme bias on the controls, and picrel. 100% caused by whoever improperly stowed the cargo, 0% pilot fault.
