Why didn’t Hitler ask for those German communities in Moravia? If he wanted to eventually take everything, these would have been the most logical demands. Yet he didn’t make them.
We can only conclude Hitler really didn’t want Czechoslovakia under his control.

Because they were densely populated and Thirty Years War didn't really touch them. Sudeten Germans were descendants of miners, lumberjacks and sparsity resource farmers who migrated into underpopulated mountain area

Photo of postwar deportations of ethnic Germans from Czechoslovakia. They wear an “N” on their clothes that stands for “Němec,” which means German

Germany under the HRE barely won any of those conflicts and they constantly over and over again had to deal with Czech uprisings. It ultimately wasn’t worth it. Czechia doesn’t want to be your slave state

My understanding is that it's mostly two things. One, the Church allowed the Bible to be translated into Proto-Czech, precisely to undermine any German attempts at Germanization (remember, at the time the Bible was not translated into German or most other languages, not allowed by the Church). This was to weaken the HRE, as the HRE and the Church had a long standing rivalry as the two dominant forces in a post-Roman Europe.
Second, Germany decentralized into a bunch of bickering noble-families, so there was no centralized effort to Germanize.
