Canada sucks. We have enough oil and natural resources to be as wealthy as a one of the Arab Gulf States, but decades of government overregulation and red tape have made that impossible. There's no jobs or economic development whatsoever, and even crappy service and warehouse jobs go to our of the ten million jeets the government has imported to keep wages down. We pay the high taxes of a European country but have the crumbling infrastructure of America's poorest state. You're more likely to die in the ER waiting room than get treated, that is if they don't tell you to get MAID first. Nobody trusts anyone or looks forward to anything. Even our small towns and filling up with homeless encampments as the government hands out benefits to immigrants and the Ukraine. Groceries get exponentially more expensive every four months, and nobody under 40 will ever be able to buy a home or retire. It feels like an open air prison, they even tax you 30% of your holdings if you try to move to another country.
