Are the romans correct in that human development can only flourish in mediterranean climates? Why Italy, Greece, Anatolia, The Levant and North Africa produced high culture and civilization but northern europe never produced any civilization of note? Instead being squalid, ape like, primitive and barbarous sub human savages for most of their existence? Are nords a lesser race?

I can ask you a similar question: What have Southern European countries produced since the Industrial Revolution?
