I mean, A music vid on /ic/ is a rare sight, I think no one can really say about it.
Maybe use another editing software for the captions other than Movie Maker, perhaps?

I was a little put off by the intro made with Movie Maker, but I soon began to enjoy the video. The music is good, and your artistic process is fascinating. I liked seeing how you added texture and complexity to each painting. It makes me appreciate their complexity much more. Do you have a finished image of the painting that appears at 2:15? It's my favorite of all the paintings in the video.

Usually I start with the painting horizontal and apply a layer of elmers glue and paint into the wet glue with watered down acrylic paint and ink. You can see some of that in the later part of the video. As the glue dries it wanders a bit and I can create some pretty cool effects. I might do several layers like this till I am happy with the background, then I tend to build up some structure with mod podge and paper strips. I might go and apply more glue and paper to achieve some depth until I'm happy with it.

I never made enough money from the art to quit my day job. I've been working in this style for about 18 years but I've been an artist since I was a child. Get your art out in the real world, find shows, join a gallery or artist cooperative. Price your work to sell, even if people tell you it's low, remember it's only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Just do the work.

Well this thread lasted long enough for me to finish my latest video. It's not that /ic/ related but you might like it anyway.

I laughed several times, I never knew I needed a song about helicopters, the editing is great and it matches the speed and vibe of the music, even if you didn’t make the song idk if you did it was great!
The art presentation MV is wonderful as well, wonderful art I’d definitely want to buy psychedelic piece one day from you!
Keep up the soul !
