FAQ
>How big is a 'large' comic page?
Large comic pages are equivalent to three standard-sized comic pages. If you do the maximum 15 standard comic pages the content the large comic therefore should be equal to this work condensed into 5 large scrollable pages. The relative proportions should be considered.
>Does a cover count towards the total page count?
No, as long as it functions as a cover and not a page that holds story content.
>Can I draw just my character doing the task? Do I have to draw the setting or the opponent?
You must engage with the prompt, the opponent, and the setting in your entry.
>My prompt feels really vague, what am I supposed to do?
Prompts can be fulfilled in any manner that involves the prompt subject with some more straightforward than others. There is no one 'correct' way to engage with a prompt.
"Can I collaborate with my opponent?"
> Collaboration is allowed, you both may submit a continuous entry using your maximum pages or time to accomplish this (so instead of a maximum 15 pages for the entry, a collaboration may submit a maximum of 30 pages, or an animation that is 2:50 in length). Both artists must materially work on their own pages or sections in the collaboration for voting purposes (no one artist doing all the lineart and another the coloring, for example).
>Do I have to draw my character winning or succeeding in the prompt over my opponent?
Winning the prompt is not a requirement to win a round. If your character subverts or fails against their opponent they may still be able to win the round during voting, but this is dependent on the voters during the vote period.
>Can I have help with making my entry?
Material help such as another person doing the lineart or coloring is not allowed.
>I'm on the Bench, how does this work compared to a standard contestant?
Your prompt does not require a faceoff against another artist but to fulfill the conditions of your prompt.
>15 pages?
That's a maximum.

Hey 17ling! Hope your first week of rendering Maple into a fine resin is going swimmingly for ya!
Cat Summer has been plugging away our entries and, while ever so slightly biased, I think our enemies will be facing SERIOUS recompense for their transgressions! Like, it's soooo over for them! ^_^
Keep up the good work, Ling! Excited to see Maple's demise on turn-in day! And as always, if ya need anything, let me know!
Warmest regards,
Locket!
