Currently reading Leper Knights. Which is just about the Knights of St Lazarus. There's a few missing books because I couldn't be assed taking a new photo, a book on Henry II, Tacitus' works, Norse Saga's, the Kingdom of Macedon, writings of Ancient Egypt among others.

Please disregard the mess. Sorry for the low definition but it's all I can do.

Started reading "Penser avec Stiegler" (Thinking with Stiegler) by the suggestion of a girl I recently met. She's writing her memoir around Bernard Stiegler. I was always fascinated by his ideas but never got to actually studying them.

I'm currently rereading books from my youth. Most of it is fantasy and old Star Wars books. Many did not hold up well but it is a nice trip down memory lane.

I think you’ve recommended me books on /lit/ before. Thoughts on Legacy of Violence by Caroline Elkins?

Never got around to it. I hope to eventually but I keep finding more to read before I do.

Based. What did you think of it? It's Orwell's second best novel, imo. Very clearly a first work, but still quite enjoyable. I found the drama at the end in the church very touching.

I recommend you read his essays. I presume you're interested in international history (since you're here), so you'd enjoy reading the interwar ones. It's quite incredible the lucidity and matter-of-factness he brings to interwar politics. + there are simple, charming essays, like the one about how to make a good cup of tea, or how much he enjoys toads.

I read fiction on my ereader. My physical bookshelves are limited to a rather random selection of mathematics and physics textbooks, because I collect and scan them for archival.
I have quite a lot of niche soviet school textbooks as well.

nice. also you have 2 editions of Fahrenheit 451
>>
>>220797681
Think the old one is in poor condition. Honestly, Fahrenheit 451 might be the most overrated sci-fi book of all time. It is the worst of big 3 dystopian novels by far. Bradbury is a decent writer though in terms of language / pose.

I wouldn't know, I've only read Bradbury in some of those "masters of scifi" short story collections. I love a good anthology
