>Ochazuke
>A dish made by topping rice with your choice of ingredients and pouring hot water, green tea, or dashi broth over it.
This seems to be the best solution.
>Funa sushi
Japan has a similar type of strongly scented fermented fish, and it appears they adapted the cooking method from that.

I want to introduce the Japanese seasoning “kome-kouji” (fermented rice) to people in Scandinavia.
It is a traditional Japanese seasoning that can be used in a variety of seafood dishes.
I think this seasoning will really take Nordic fish dishes to the next level.
