The only good ones are SimYukkuri and Eight Views. Yukkuri Diary might also be good, but it's a mobile game that controls abysmally on PC. Upcoming fangame Udongein X2 will have a yukkuri gamemode where you raise and battle yukkuri like pokemon. Yukkuri Mountain just came out, but it's not a yukkuri lifesim. Aside from that, there are a handful of obscure, incomplete games. I'm glad I have them, but they're more like relics of Internet history than playable games. My favorite of these has 3D models that you can kick around.

It's already playable in the latest demo, but it's very barebones. No evolutions, only 1 type of toy, yukkuri don't interact with each other, only with the player, no real consequences for abusing them, etc.

Just tried it out. It's decently fun. I enjoyed watching the yukkuri dogfights. There are just two glaring issues:
1. The N64-tier controls. It's barely playable on a controller and keyboard/mouse is even worse. Don't know how you can fuck this up in current year, but it IS a GameMaker game.
2. To get the points needed to actually improve your yukkuri, you need to play the base game. I personally am not that interested in the base game. I played just enough to get to Eientei and I thought it was mediocre. The boss fights were alright, but the stages are fucking garbage.

I didn't really get yukkuri abuse but can kinda see it now after reading a bunch of series on the booru.
my favorite were probably the kind of stories in which they are literally too stupid to live and too arrogant to like. the torture of nice yukkuris isn't that fun, but there was one notable series in which they were tortured by their well-meaning owner's total incompetence and retardation that managed to pull it off in a "this is awful but now that I'm this far I HAVE to see he does next" kinda way

Yukkuri dialogue seems to be somewhat translated. Most of the UI is in moonrunes. There seem to be abyuse items(?) but I'm not sure how they work. The gore is pretty cool tho.

Family Friendly Yukkuri fans never really gave a fuck about Yukkuri that much and just liked it as a fad, then went away.
It's the Yukkuri Abuse fans that have been the most dedicated to Yukkuris and making Yukkuri content. There's even been a huge resurgence in the past few years, and a popular Abyuse artist that hasn't made Yukkuri stuff in a while even returned.
Also, don't forget it's the abuse artists and the fanbase they created that even made Yukkuris cute in the first place. Before that, they were just dumb/silly-looking floating heads. The abuse fans were the ones who gave them their distinctive looks and behaviors, and the cutest Yukkuris have always come from abuse artists.
