Thing is this makes little sense. Zipp's real name is Zephyrina. Short and less girly and less royal/formal "Zipp" is something that was probably invented later, probably by Zipp or Pipp. Chances are Pipp was named when Zipp was too young to start disliking her full name, and only later adapted "Zipp" to mimic "Pipp". We even see a flashback of Zipp and Queen Haven and she does refer to little Zipp as Zephyrina. And little Zipp at the time seems old enough for Pipp to already be alive, unless Pipp is much much younger. But we do see other scenes and Zipp and Pipp look very similar. They are either twins or Zipp is only 1 year older.

Or we assume that Zipp is and always was a proper shorter form of Zephyrina and not an invention.

It's a perspective some people have on her. The only annoying thing about it is that they seem to think it's 100% canon, rather than something completely open to interpretation. Kinda like the trans-Trixie thing. Show itself never confirms it, not even indirectly, but it does not make it impossible either. There is as much evidence Zipp is non-binary as there is for Sunny or Hitch. They claim its strongly suggested and "obvious" and no one should expect that it would be brought up explicitly in the show, which is probably a valid argument.
