Currently as of this post, there are:
>10 kpop generals
>6 Sabrina Carpenter threads
>4 Halsey threads
>4 Olivia Rodrigo threads
>4 Emily Armstrong threads
>3 Wet Legs threads
>surprisingly only one Taylor Swift thread - guess she's just getting old
I scrolled through all of these threads and counted 12 comments about their music in anyway. Fuck you. Go to Wpop with the other gooners or make a new board.

To be fair, most of the kpop threads are just ones that hit bump limit because everyone who posts in those threads are bots and people who are mentally retarded and think they're posting in good company so new threads are constantly spammed when an old one dies and mods are usually pretty good at deleting duplicates.
That being said, why the fuck are there two active kpop threads at a time?

does nothing - there is perpetually 8-12 kpop gens at once at all times
>>130003719

absolute state of the steve hoffman forum
currently as of this post, there are
>50 beatles threads
>40 beach boys threads
>30 stones threads
>10 paul mccartney threads
but you are right nobody ever talks about music on here unless its to make fun of it or goon to the female singers

It's radicalizing me to see how liberals genuinely pretend not to understand things so you can't discuss anything with them.
There is nothing wrong with discussing wpop or Sabrina. But if you don't see the issue with so many duplicate threads shitting up the board then you are purposefully being a retard.

Anyone posting here longer than 6 months can easily see this board couldn't have reached a lower point than it already has in its entire measured history. We couldn't have less engagement, and even the little we have has been marred with unchecked shitposts. When anons are accosted with threads like these, who the hell would stay here?

Waifuposting is commonly scapegoated for the state of the board, but purging every waifu thread on sight still wouldn't account for the dearth of music discussion on this board apart from the genre generals.
But so many /mu/tants love to blame waifu threads for the state of this place. What do you think will revitalize this place?

Seethe all you want, but you can't ignore the facts that shitposting coupled with arbitrary moderation damaged this board's user engagement far more than waifuposters ever did.

This board has a lot of problems, but the internet generally has shifted away from 4chan, and there was no way this board wasn't going to suffer. Through all the ups and downs /mu/ has had though,
the one thing that could really make a difference, really improve it immeasurably and quckly is this >>130008050. Ideally with proof on one of the NSFW boards.

based.
I tried starting a thread to discuss why Ye wasn't booked to play Coachella, and I got a warning because it was "off topic". Very likely because they didn't like the fact that I pointed out the politics of the people who own coachella and how that lines up with ye's politics.
But we're still talking about one of the biggest performers today playing at one of the biggest music festivals today. How that isn't on-topic is beyond me, unless it's the "hurr durr rap is not music" things, in which case all of the other Ye astroturfing would also have been removed as "off-topic".
*shrugs* not complaining, mind you, but a reasonable person could look at that and perhaps not be so mystified as to the /mu/ trends.
there was an article posted a while ago about 4chinz and RapeApe, which basically summed it up - "the goal is to make all boards an extension of /pol/" - and they're achieving that.

Here you go lad:
>RapeApe has an agenda: He wants /pol/ to have an influence on the rest of the site and [its] politics
