This. Terrible engines that sound terrible too.

Buy something that won't leave you so broke you can't buy good gear, and don't listen to squidfags or stunt-tards.

You should take a motorcycle class and get your license before actually buying a motorcycle

Riding a motorcycle is dangerous. Buy an electric powered mid-size SUV instead. Then you (should) make it home safely to see your wife and kids.

Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave.
It really does make sense
>insists you must start the same way they did
>No bro you can't beat a 600 its just as fast bro as 1000s bro trust me bro
>Yeah bro you gotta have technology bro you die without the bike riding for you
>ahhh that sound note (shorty exhaust spam)

they even wildly overvalue their bikes as well. You can probably go online right now and find numerous examples of any of the 2000s 600 class bikes with 20k+ miles, 2 lowsides, and a dozen known owners for $6k+

Don't get a 600 for your first bike unless you have experience riding dirt. Riding is a skill, and 600s are not made for beginners. I started on a 600. I got lucky a few times, and my skill development was absolutely hindered by the bike. Get a Ninja 400.

Fingers on the cluch and a carefully tuned ear was useful in the seventies.
H2 was not intended as a first bike.

Sorry mate, I2's just sound like shit 99.9% of the time. It's not everyone, but it's not just me.
I can appreciate any other config, just the I2's are gross, offering nothing over any other config.
They barely make the same power per CC as I4's on carbs 25 years ago did, weigh marginally less than V/L twins 25 years ago did with barely more power.
I will concede that maybe it's a generational thing. Maybe new riders just don't know how many heroes have been relegated to the graveyard thanks to manufacturing costs, emissions nannying and lowering the standards for something with soul.
For anything that isn't a 1/100 unit or track first, road 2nd, they're heavier, slower and sound like I2 ricer farts.
