Pretty sure that's a Mazda CX-6e, an EV cuckover based on the Chinese Changan Deepal S07.
Kind of sad, but I guess their own cuckover designs are getting so dated they can't sell them outside the US and the third world any more.

>We are dead and this is Hell.
There is a theory that all of time has happened in an instant and what we experience as time is our way of coping with it.
Those moments when you experience your script.
That is how it happened.

I get why some of you're upset. And Mazda even themselves touted how they're driver first and didn't want to even add touch to their infotainment system on their recent interior revamp. But the reality is, cars without screens do not fucking sell in the key markets, most consumers (and their kids) do want fancy screens, and they don't give a fuck about some climate control or other auxiliary controls being buttons or touch because it's usually set once and forget. Say good bye.

a calculated sacrifice for the sake of money saved by removing useful tactile buttons in sake of a more ecnomically viable screen

or is this just for manlets?

I got a 2016 cx-5 and they really dropped the ball with the next gen. It is like they are 5-6 years behind. While western carmarkers like VW are slowly starting to go back to buttons, Mazda goes full touchscreen which noone asked for.

UI sort of looks like it uses the same software platform as the Deepal S07.
Wonder if it has those usual Chinese driver "assists" forced on, too? Unless you drive on the most pristine potemkin roads ever, those things are practically trying to kill you.
>mistakes lumps of snow for lane markings, tries to avoid crossing "lane boundary" by automatically steering the car into ditch
>forces car into the center of a narrow road because it can't see the worn lane markings and assumes the road is a single lane
>auto emergency brake triggers from random false positives
>makes random beeps to warn you of hazards and the hazard avoidance systems not functioning
Also, if you react to any of those and look around instead of staring straight ahead, the driver attention monitoring starts beeping, too.
Maybe that feature is less of a problem if the expected drivers do not contain souls.

No all this gay shit comes from overpaid MBAs who think they have to copy tesla to sell EVs and DEI focus groups full of chinks and browns. Ensouled human beings were not involved in the creation or subsequent purchase of cars like this.

I'm just as against over screenification as the next guy, but just remember the next time you complain about touchscreens, remember that this was the alternative.
There's definitely a happy medium but I know which is the lesser of two evils.

>Deepal
what the fuck is China's problem with brand names
what the hell is a Deepal
Gonna head on down to the Beepo dealership and pick me up a new Q03XT
Yeah I was thinking about getting a Grungle but then I test drove the new HAMAMA and it really impressed me

>what the hell is a Deepal
The company's name in Chinese means something like "Deep Blue Automotive Technology".
I'd guess "Deepal" is an attempt to turn that into an international-sounding name that's just the right length for a car brand, while being something a Chinese person might be able to pronounce.
They're really just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks with these brands. Some companies have dozens of them, e.g. a separate brand identity for each powertrain, or car size class, or whatever, even if those cars largely use the same platform and barely even look any different.

The CX-6e was developed with Changan (creator of Deepal S07) so they have a lot of similarities. Probably similar to what GM did to Saab back in the day. Not quite a full rebadge, but getting there.

5000 physical buttons is far better than 3 submenus and sliding your finger through plastic. It only takes you around 3 times of pushing a button to learn where it is. In contrast, adjusting the AC temperature in a touchscreen requires chameleon eyes, +20 luck, or at least a full second of distracting your eyes from the road
I miss the old times so badly and I'm not even 30 yo

Pure insanity. Why is looking at a side view mirror sized screen on your passenger door better than looking at an actual side view mirror? How is this an improvement? Instead of putting a mirror on the side of the car they put a fucking camera and wiring and install a screen to show you what the camera sees when you could of bypassed all of that bullshit with the exact technology we've been using for the past century in the form of a regular ass mirror? It's not giving you more visibility, it's literally doing the same thing as a side mirror with extra steps and complexity. Absolutely ridiculous.

Mazda is the worst fucking vehicle in terms of programming. Idk if my car is even locked rn because it constantly unlocks itself or doesn't fully lock when I press the button. I start the car and the auto parking brake won't turn off until I restart it 2 more times. I disabled that feature on the menu but it turns itself back on. There's no way to disable auto braking so it slams on the brakes while driving if it sees a car braking in the lane next to me, or a car coming at me on an open highway that's in an adjacent lane. It thinks I'm gonna go head on with it and fully locks the brakes nearly causing people to crash into me. I need to sell this shit asap. I just bought it used and it's a fucking 2024. Do not buy Mazda, it's complete garbage. Look how many error lights I constantly have in a 2 year old vehicle, and the goddamn doors are crooked and don't close right. Fuck this POS.

Sounds like you didn't do a pre-purchase inspection, or even look at the car for more than 2 seconds. You bought a wrecked car because you're an unobservant retard.
