4s tires don't really beat everything.
It's just good in basically all categories.
Good dry grip
Good wet grip
Good lifespan
Good ride quality/noise

ECS02s are pretty equal while being cheaper. While being a less responsive and softer than PS4S, I got better wet and dry traction with ECS02s. I bumped the PSI up a lbs and they really stiffen up and close the gap.

I like the O2s but they don't have a wheel protector.
That's why I got the 4S over the contis.
Eventually you'll curb a wheel.
Hung over, maybe distracted by family.
Wheel protector really helps with that
