>Stellantis NV is discussing reviving a partnership with Dongfeng Motor Corp. that would involve joint car production in Europe and China, according to people familiar with the matter.
>The companies are in talks about giving Dongfeng access to underused Stellantis factories in Europe, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private deliberations. Dongfeng may in turn make cars from selected Stellantis brands in China, some of the people said.

Sounds like a great idea to ship cars from the town the coof was created in.

They're letting Dongfeng use their "underused" factories (which to be fair they wouldn't be able to make profitable anyways, might as well earn rent) to make Dongfeng cars.
And Dongfeng will use their own factories to make Stellantis cars to sell in China.
So European Stellantis cars aren't affected by this.
