You know that's a performance sports bike meant for short tracks with off-road segments yes? A 600 will leave you behind on any straight longer than 50 meters and it will do that for an entire year without an oil-change.

I wonder why they don't make 600cc or above sport bikes that as high stress as 450/250 dirt bikes. Like, the reason dirt bikes have crazy short maintenance intervals is that their engines are stressed harder than street bikes. So why couldn't you take an r6 or a fireblade and stress them the same as an MX bike in exchange for 20 hour oil changes? A lot of people only ride their sport bikes on the track anyway.
