The 1954 documentary "The Long, Long Trailer" proves otherwise. What changed? Why does everyone think they need a lifted 3/4 ton truck with 1000 ft lbs of torque to haul a camper?

Gawd damn zoomers are stoopid. Also they used a more powerful Capri on inclines because the shitbox couldn't pull it IIRC.

This. The Lincoln had a larger, 317/5.2L OHC V8 compared to the 255ci/4.2L flathead V8.
