they're a smashing success in Japan. a proper sequel to the last ones.

Probably in 8 years.
They arent selling so they will be rare, depreciation on the first retard who tries to offload it in the used market will convince the others to keep them right up until the battery warranty ends. Then you will have to deal with it.

Literal retard car. Im glad Honda made it if only so we vould finally decide who among us are the stupidest retards in the world.

I will be monitoring the parking lot at our office and fire/not hire anyone who drives one of these.

I will make false DUI claims on drivers of these I see on the road.

Now. I've seen a couple already. I'm amazed there's people stupid enough to buy them.

The Prelude ended in 2001. Period.
Sick of car makers bringing back names and then butchering them.

The Prelude was canned because an Accord coupe rode better and was not as expensive, and had a V6. There were a few other things that also made the car feel pointless by its last 97-01 generation.
Now I heard, and no I am tried and not fact checking, that Honda canned some version of the Accord or Civic to launch this new Prelude.
This thing will never sell, like any other two door sports coupe in the last 20 years.
Cars like these are for boomers with spending money (infact I just spoke with a boomer today who bought a brand new BMW X5 for over $100,000). Gen Y and Z don't have any of that spending money, and just need four wheels. So suvs and crossovers will continue, cause that's what they want, or can only afford.
And the price of even a "cheap" new car is insane. So who is gonna buy like a 55-80,000 Prelude?
Used car market is also still fucked.

I still haven't seen one. Or an Integra. I squint at Prius to see if they're a prelude and nope it's a Prius. Prius is cooler anyway

When I heard there was a new Prelude coming out, it got my attention since I've been looking to sell my current Corolla daily and get something that's a bit sporty but also comfortable. The Prelude seemed to check all the boxes.

When I saw the price and that they were not going to include the manual, I was out. I was hoping this car would come close to an Accord V6 coupe 6MT but Honda basically brought back the Civic Si coupe with an interior refresh, no manual and charging $20k more for it. I can't justify it. I hate that I got my hopes up.

Shame they didn't build it for real car guys like you.

Hate to bum you out even more but you probably didn't realize the new prelude is a HYBRID.
That's why no manual. Also an extra thousand lbs of bloat.
