>Late Tuesday afternoon, with the subtlety of a wrecking ball and the morality of a foreclosure notice, the Trump administration announced the most devastating attack on the U.S. Forest Service in the agency’s 121-year history. Not a budget cut. Not a policy shift. Not a “reorganization.” An execution.

FS spends way more and has way more people employed in fire roles. Still true now even as much has been moved to the new fire servce. They might even have more in recreation and resource management (like timber production) than in research. The ologists always got the least funding and many of them were fired or took the doge buyout last year anyway

I’ve always thought it would be nice to have a low stress job with the FS marking logging boundaries or something. It really does seem like in 10 years the only jobs that are going to be available are temporary trade positions building 5 million square foot Jewish AI data centers.

We just need to bring about the apocalypse. This means serving as a good golem to israel and assisting them in the greater israel project ie taking over the entire middle east and building the third temple. Nothing here even matters since the americas aren't even in the book.

>The Agriculture Department is planning to move the Forest Service’s headquarters across the country to Salt Lake City, Utah — the first step of a broader agency reorganization.
>USDA said relocating the Forest Service headquarters will “begin a sweeping restructuring of the agency,” as well as a consolidation of its facilities nationwide.
>The department, in its announcement on Tuesday, said this reorganization would bring agency leaders and employees closer to the communities they serve. The vast majority of Forest Service land is concentrated in the Western part of the country.
>As part of this reorganization, the Forest Service has designated 15 state directors to oversee its operations within one or more states.
>Under this reorganization, the Forest Service will close all nine of its regional offices and relocate that work to six hubs across the country —Albuquerque, New Mexico; Athens, Georgia; Fort Collins, Colorado; Madison, Wisconsin; Missoula, Montana; and Placerville, California.
Sounds like a bunch of paper pushers in DC are angry their cushy do-nothing jobs are being eliminated and people who actually do field work will be hired in their place.

Fuck the forest service, those faggots create zero jobs and just jerk off in their mansion cabins with their "friends and families" all day. Hopefully there can be some private companies that actually hire real fucking people to manage the forests for once instead of this insular familial niggerhell bullshit that has only resulted in overgrown logging roads and styofoam fucking everywhere.

They're probably getting droned
>Korean Air and U.S. defense technology company Anduril Industries are exploring the joint development of an integrated response platform to address the growing challenge of large-scale wildfires. The initiative represents an expansion of the teaming agreement the two companies signed earlier this year for unmanned systems cooperation in the Korean and Asia-Pacific markets
>“Wildfires are a global crisis, but the way we fight them is horribly antiquated,” said Palmer Luckey, Founder of Anduril Industries. “By integrating KAL’s UAVs into Anduril’s existing end-to-end wildfire response platform, we will dramatically accelerate wildfire response by making it more automated, comprehensive, and scalable, ultimately saving countless lives and billions in property damage.”
>The solution will manage the entire wildfire response cycle with minimal human intervention. Spanning a range of Anduril products including the Fury autonomous air vehicle (AAV) and powered by Anduril’s Lattice software platform, Anduril’s wildfire response platform unifies detection data from sensors distributed across air, land, space, and more into a single common operating picture to alert an operator as soon as a fire breaks out. The operator can then task Anduril AAVs and KAL UAVs to autonomously assess the scale and status of the fire, before subsequently tasking additional rapid-response UAVs or crewed airtankers for fire suppression, as needed.
