Lets talk about Lars Tunbjörk. I’d say he is the house god for us Swedish photographers and wannabe photographers (me).
There are a gazillion images and photographers from the US, from the early 1900s and onwards. Just by capturing 1980s and 1990s Sweden his work stands out, add to that his sharp witty eye, flash and surrealism.

They just released a new edition of his book ”Landet utom sig”, bought one and will probably buy a second one and keep it in mint/still wrapped.

Well, its a special type of look. Sort of like Stephen Shore and William Egglestone. However I find his images to be more intelligent than the work of both of those.

I am getting Luigi Ghirri x Martin Parr vibes from his work. There is also a Chinese photographer similar to this aesthetic but I am forgetting his name.
But yes he has a unique vibe to his work. This >>4499851 photo is so damn funny and intelligent but still my problem is that I don't like this flash thing.
