I know a guy that used to work in a shipyard there. It's extremely humid and hot. Working outdoors there in summer you'll end up vomiting and collapsing from heatstroke.
Apparently it's full of negroes and dilapidated architecture.

This. They pay thousands of dollars to get hangovers and see saggy tits. I watched the Mardi Gras live stream this year. The hot bitches never show their tits. It’s all the drunk land whales from Texas.

Ignore these people it's generally a family oriented event where tons of parades with throws happen throughout the city. The only crazy shit you hear about happens in the French quarter. New orleans is a really fun place if you like to get fucked up and be weird. No one cares. The food is really good too but it's absolutely not good for you. You can buy drinks in the drive through and it's open bottle so you can get to go cups at the bar lol.

They have a 3 strike rule that puts you in jail for life. Petty crimes count as strikes.
I say that because it might be fun to explore but I always feel like people in Louisiana are up to something and that 3 strike rule puts more pressure on people that might turn that petty crime into a felony or five because its their 2nd strike.

I used to live in Broussard La. for 3 years when I worked in the oilfield back in the 90's. Lafayette was the largest nearby city. There's lot's of horny Brittney Spears and Anna Margret hot tween and teen pussy in Central Louisiana. They'll bring their hot girlfriends to your bed to share if you fuck them right more than half the time. The food is great, just not exactly healthy. Cost of living is very low. I'm from Central Texas. I left because work dragged me kicking and screaming back to Houston. Then Austin. Married a hot bi girl when she was 18 from Lago Vista. When she wanted a hot girlfriend, I cracked a grin and we went on a month long vacation in Broussard. We came back to Texas with our new girlfriend in tow. That was in 2003, she's our wife now. We go back and forth from Texas to Louisiana. New wife's family at first gave us the stink eye.. But about 3 months after we got with her Grande-Mère put her foot down as our biggest defender with a suddenly enthusiastic nod of approval. Made it clear if our new wife was happy, that's all that mattered. It came after Grande-Mére, the wives and me had a long conversation about our life in Texas on our ranch. What shocked everyone, including us, was when Grande-Mère passed away in 2019, and left everything to us, equally dividing her estate between me and my two wives by name, naming me the executor. Even more interesting was only the two scummiest of her family disagreed, with everyone else making clear they already expected and respected this outcome. And it is no small estate.. I had to hire another attorney along with Grande-Mère's to better control what needed to be done and arranged to my satisfaction. Which is another reason we go between Texas and Louisiana so much. Both of my wives are called Grande-Mère by all under the age of 40 in her family, and I'm Grande-Père. So a lot goes on in Louisiana. It's complicated, simple and sweaty.

actually an extremely evil state. Between the history of Latin America level corruption, violence, crime, poverty, expulsions, slavery, and general misery and suffering there’s a lot of bad energy in Louisiana.

No, I don't think he is. Most states have open container laws that make it illegal to even have an open container of alcohol in the car. The immediate issue with a drive thru daiquiri shop is that they would be serving you a daiquiri in a cup, which is technically an open container and would be illegal, but these places get around that by putting tape or some other kind of seal on them which makes it legal unless you break the seal. It's flimsy, but cops and courts go with it.

Used to be a really cool state, maybe the coolest. Now it's the least white of all and being sold out by GOP Boomers so they can afford to move to Montana on a big ranch-villa or something, being abandoned to the spaghetti mongrels they are allowing to be imported here to drive down wages while apparently somehow being against mass-immigration; you figure it out.
I love this place but it's a dump now. The White people that are left don't wanna save it, they're content to cower in their homes and hope the consequences of Zimbabweification don't come to them directly.
I'm leaving as soon as I can. I'll always miss it but if I stay here anymore I'm just gonna die.

I like the weather honestly. I dunno, just feels like home to me. People who complain about it and have lived here as long as me just make me roll my eyes.
Yes; it's hot, it's humid. We all know it. But we just keep living here. Figure it out or shut the fuck up about it.

We haven't had the 3 Strike Rule in fucking decades, what're you talking about? Maybe ever I don't think. You can get sentenced under the Habitual Offender Act but that's not the same thing although it will put you prison for a quintillion years.

As a friend to the Old Dominion y'all really ain't got room to talk shit right now. Your state government is run by a jew who's going on an iconoclastic spree to destroy all things Southern.
I'm not sure what's more pathetic; the fact she's in power or the fact I know none of you will do anything about it.
The South is dead; it's been dead for a while. It only exists in our hearts and minds now.

no at least here the drunk driving laws are extremely strict
you lose your license and get massive fine and if its above 0.9 BAC which makes it aggravated similar to your "felony" you can get jail time a suspended sentence but its still a jail time on your record which lead to all sort of trouble
people do that a ton in the rural areas though because there are no police at all
and yes i think its too strict having a couple of beers and then driving shouldnt fuck up your life
>>
>>533339002
Yeah but nobody except americans know about your retarded open container laws and how jewish the justice system is with technicalities
My thinking too would immediately go that what the fuck is an drive thru bar because its obviously for drunk driving :D
>>
>>533342277
We have stupid alcohol laws too though, like alcohol served at bar is a different thing to alcohol bought from store, you cant order a beer from a pub or restaurant and then walk out with it, its stupid
But at least if you want to exercise your God given right to have a beer sitting in a park or wherever you can absolutely do that no "open container" nonsense

Crime, hurricanes, LSU football, downward mobility
It's very funny how there's a 10 year cycle of
>the state attracts industry with subsidies
>the people who they bring in hate living there
>the company pulls out
It happened with film. It happened with tech. It's a state that is so corrupt, it will always fail. It doesn't help that Houston is right there, experiencing 2000s China levels of economic growth, and vacuuming up every Louisianian educated professional.
