How has Cuba not collapsed? In North Korea they have Stalinist level repression and they have actually been less poor and hungry than Cuba for most of the last 25 years. Cuba's repression is relatively light. Is it just that they turn away and allow millions of emigrants to leave when things get too bad as a pressure release valve?
