Cancer doctors (and vaxx pushers) are the climate scientists of the medical world. Medical school is all about training doctors on massaging the truth and manipulating patient agreement in order to weasel their way out of any accountability at all. Here's a useful template:

>Doctor will taking this poison actually help me?
>"This is actually medicine and it's the standard treatment protocol for your condition"
>But will it help me? Won't it make me worse?
>"There are some rare side effects but the rarest possible side effects are very rare"
>What about common side effects?
>"I think it's more helpful at this point in time if we affirm the benefits to you"
>Doctor, will this actually fix my condition?
>"I'll just get your signature quickly. This is just so you don't lose your spot, you can always change your mind on the day."
>OK [signs chemo waiver, doctor pulls it away]. Hey do I get a copy of that?
>"Why do you think you need a copy of that? You won't need a copy of that. Awww, did someone confuse you by telling you you needed a copy of that?"
>No but I just thought---
>The treatment may damage the nerves in your fingers, just avoid touching hot saucepans during the treatment
>What about after the treatment? Will I get better?
>There may be some improvement afterwards. But don't worry, the most common side effect is feeling like going to sleep for 8 hours at night time.
