its so easy to trick people into thinking liberalizing the econ means they are joining a global market of goods and services on equal footing
while in reality you are turning your country into an economic colony of the richer nations

people should be forced to pass an exam to have the right to vote
like a driver's licence.
just to make sure everyone knows at least the basics of economy, history, geopolitics
governance, in a larger sense

we had something similar happening with avocados here
they used to food for the poors
el chavo are avocado sandwiches because he couldnt afford ham sandwiches because he was a homeless hobo
now after liberalism avocado is as expensive as aged ham in cities

>Deregulation...
>LE BAD!
Problem is that Argentina, like literally any south american shithole, wildly swings between outright communism and lolbert deregulation. They repossess all the land and then depossess it and then bring foreign interests in and out, basically zero stability and the market can never actually stabilize on anything, domestic demand can't increase to ship to foreigners + locals because by the time the next election comes the government will repossess the land and cows again.
>>533363163
It's better to export avocados anyway, that shit isn't real food.

wouldnt be a first
osso buco used to be a poorfag's dish
modern sushi started as a fast food
and lobsters were called cockroackes of the sea, and fed to criminals, or used as fertilizer
conversely, potatoes used to be an exclusive dish
and aluminium used to be more expensive than gold
napoleon gave aluminium ustensils to his guests
the lesser ones used "mere" gold.

classical liberal economics is the unironically the best economic system ever invented.

dude I bet you 1/1000 people know what inflation actually is. It's one of those words everyone says but no one knows the meaning of. It's quite simple actually. When the total money supply exceeds the real GDP value, the difference is inflation. Below it = deflation. When central bankers give boring 30min speeches they're intentionally misleading the goyim. But modern western governments love borrowing and spending 24/7 so they justify it all as normal.

"classical liberal economics" is a confused and not particularly coherent term. You're combining a broad political philosophy 19th Century liberalism with classical economics. You're combining a number of thinkers who did not share the same economic view. That's without getting into the incoherence and contradictions with reality that classical economics have.
Ultimately one should reject both economism and liberalism.

It's perfectly coherent. An economy run by classical economists would be a liberal economy, and liberal economies have proven more successful than command economies pretty much everywhere.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>533369053
Your first post stated "classical liberal economics". Classical thinkers did not believe in the free market to the extent that the likes of neo-liberals and lolbertarians like Milei and his ilk do. Classical liberals like Mill supported state provision of public goods, banking regulation, etc. But there was a variety of thought amongst classical liberals.
Classical economics has been superseded. It's not relevant to contemporary economic arguments.
It's not an either or. It's not either a command economy or a free market. Both socialism and neo-liberalism has been shown to be failures. We can have a mixed economy. We can have a state that puts the collective interests of its own people first. We don't need to be beholden to the global market or 19th century liberal ideas.

That shit has double in price since this retard decided to help Trump lower the prices in USA by sending all our local beef to the US. In exchange, Trump saved his ass by lending him like 20 billion dollars just before the mid term elections when he the economy was crashing. Small government and free market my ass.

>eoliberalism is a term almost completely devoid of meaning
are you retarded?
neoliberalism is simply the logical evolution of liberal economics: maximization of economic transactions for its own sake which means all aspects of your existence become a commodity to be bought and sold
>>
>>533370473
you don't even know what the fuck "neoliberalization" means. you're throwing the word around like an Arab rich kid throws around the credit card of his Aramco daddy.
because in the context of what you are saying it doesn't have any meaning.

>The conception of man as an "economic animal/being" (Adam Smith's and his school's Homo oeconomicus) is the very symbol that connotes both bourgeois capitalism and Marxist socialism. Liberalism and Marxism were born as opposing poles of the same system of economic values. One defends the "exploiter," the other defends the "exploited" - but in both cases, we don't escape economic alienation.
>Liberals (or neo-liberals) and Marxists agree on one essential point: for them, the determining function of a society is the economy. It constitutes the real infrastructure of any human group. It is its laws that allow for "scientific" assessment of human activity and prediction of behaviors. In economic activity, Marxists give the predominant role to the mode of production; liberals give it to the market. It is the mode of production or the mode of consumption ("starting" economy or "arriving" economy) that determines social structure. In this conception, material well-being is the only goal that civil society consents to assign itself. And the means adapted to this goal is the free exercise of economic activity.

the notoriously strong standard of anecdotal evidence....
besides even if it was conceded that purchasing power for the average wage declined (for which you have no evidence at all) the question would naturally arise of whether such decrease is part of a larger trend and whether it has been relatively slowed or not by the reforms.

markets host transactions
when your econ system is all about maximizing market power, you are maximizing TRANSACTIONS that must drive it
If you MUST maximize transactions in that system, the end goal for your society is the make all aspects of it into commodities

All Milei the Jewish tantric sex coach did was devalue the Argentine currency in half when he got into power. That's why inflation dropped and exports increased. Milei's degenerate fans were able to screech that he was a genius. But it was just temporary (as anyone with a modicum of intelligence could see) and now the same problems are rearing their head again. Inflation is heading back up and unemployment is rising. Ultimately lolbertarians have no real answers.

Leftists care quite a bit about cultural changes though. And many liberals care about social topics, they just don't want a government dictating them to the people.

whole semester of some semester in third world country maybe.
market is intended as opposed to state as these are the only 2 alternatives. it is a dichotomy.
the market is the private (sector) as opposed to the state. maximizing (which btw is a word your dumb source doesn't even use) the market as opposed to the state, means maximizing the private, i.e. the individual over the public control. so the end goal is to enable individuals (private) to pursue their own goals through free exchange and cooperation.
I'm not even a "neoliberal" as again the term is too vague and has been used repeatedly by retards to describe anything they don't like in the west, but your argument is still dumb.
