Good chance
>ivy
Ehhh she’s ok as a lowercarder.
>zoey
They’ll keep for a bit as a pity hire.
>gargano and his wife
Sadly no.
>grayson
No. He’s good with media.
>alba
Chelsea is protecting her.
>chase
Yup
>apollo
Tall black man. Nope.
>vikings
Hopefully. At least Erik.
>briggs
Yup
>choo
Doubtful. Just won a belt so give it a few months.

There's always some left field ones you don't see coming. Also, salary comes into it and i'd imagine Spears is one of the highest in NXT. Can see Izzi getting repositioned whilst those two get dropped.

Every year when people ask this everyone just lists every jobber on the roster, and only 2-3 of them get released and then some "big" name gets cut and no one can believe it. Someone like Kofi or Kairi who have nothing in the future to do has a better chance of being released than someone like Waller who does a bunch of media and is a reliable guy to get cheap heat for a match and job

Don't Erik and Ivar work at the PC? They aren't going to drop Ivy due to her look and I'd be shocked if Zoey and Alba get fired because they are jobbers who aren't complete ASS in the ring. Waller stays based on his mic skills.
WWE doesn't really fire the girls who can wrestle a decent match
>>
>>20254517
Nak is never going to get fired because he does a bunch of shit with the other nip wrestlers behind the scenes. a lot of the older guys that are like
>why the fuck is such and such still under contract
work at the PC

They're still thick as thieves, huh?
Both of them tried to get Izzy kicked out of the business for being "too young" to wrestle. Gatekeeping whores.

All of the Wyatt Sicks. Bray's death is old news so they'll just nuke the whole stable like they did with The Final Testament. It never got over, and it doesn't fit with campy stuff like Danhausen that does get over.

SmackDown got a new creative team so more guys are probably safe than usual. Women were a complete afterthought this WrestleMania so I could see this next wave being an apocalypse with 25-35% of the entire women's roster cut.

>>

Women's lower card and tag teams are the worst performing areas for WWE. We know WWE pays women's lower card talent better than men's lower card talent so if TKO don't care about long-term then it's a very attractive area to cut.

What women do they even have to cut? they aren't going to cut nattie or roxy so on RAW it's literally just lyra or Ivy or I guess zoey but zoey's hurt and I doubt the cut Ivy
On slopdown, they aren't going to cut Zelina after just signing her husband. So it's like Nikki, b-fab and mia yim. I doubt they cut candice without cutting johnny and alba is probably safe by virtue of not being a complete shitter
>>20257826
IDK why you are being such a homo when all the women are better than gay uso or chomo phil or cawdy of seff or that guy who put his fingers up his butt or any of Solo's janetties, ect ect

It still set a precedent and we talk about the souless TKO Kikes, not Vince who might have been a scumbag 95% of the time but he still had carny honor in some aspects of the business

He keeps getting injured for long periods of time, which doesn't bode well for him or his career.
I think that even if he comes back, they'll make him a backstage producer/coach. I think his wrestling days are numbered.
>>
>>
>>
The fact that Wendy Choo has been there since 2019 and has gone through like 3 gimmick changes, but never getting out of developmental, does not bode well for her.
She did just win the Evolve Women's title, but that is such a low title I don't think it will protect her.
>>
>>
>>
>>

Here is a list of people who are still in developmental since both the Black & Gold era of NXT and the 2.0 era.
Black & Gold
>Josh Briggs: Signed with the company in August 2020, made his televised debut on July 27th, 2021.
>Andre Chase: Signed with the company in February 2021, made his televised debut on 205 Live on July 2, followed by his NXT debut on July 30.
>Wendy Choo: First competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament. Signed with the company in February 2019. Made her televised debut on August 8th, 2021 (She had an injury that kept her out for 2 years). She has now gone through 3 gimmick changes. Is now working Evolve.
>Noam Dar: Participated in the 2016 Crusierweight Classic tournament. Signed with the company in August 2016. Made his televised debut on RAW on November 7th. Did his first 205 Live match on December 6th. Made his NXT UK debut with the premier episode on October 17th, 2018. He didn't make his televised debut on NXT proper until April 4th, 2023. Has been out of action since June 2025 due to injury.
>Charlie Dempsey: Signed with the company in January 2021, debuted on NXT UK on February 25th. Came to NXT proper in August 2022.
>Jacy Jayne: Signed with the company in February 2021, made her televised debut on July 20th.

>>
>>20258745
2.0
>Malik Blade: Can't find when he signed, but made his televised debut on October 5th, 2021.
>Myles Borne: Signed with the company in March 2022, made his televised debut on June 17th.
>Dante Chen: Signed with the company in July 2019, made his televised debut on September 22, 2021. Is now working in Evolve. (I believe the long delay between signing and debut was due to Covid)
>Tony D'Angelo: Signed with the company in February 2021, made his televised debut on October 5th (Same match as Malik Blade's tv debut).
>Arianna Grace: Signed with the company in March 2022, made her televised debut on April 29th.
>Thea Hail: Signed with the company in March 2022, made her televised debut on April 5th.
>Fallon Henley: While she made a few appearances doing jobs with different ring names in NXT since 2018, she didn't sign with the company until March 2022, making her tv debut in April of the same year.
>Brooks Jensen: Signed with the company in August 2021, made his televised debut on September 14th (The premier episode of NXT 2.0). Is now working Evolve.
>Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo: Signed with the company in March 2022, made his televised debut on April 19th.
>Nikkita Lyons: Signed with the company in summer 2021, she made her televised debut on December 31st on 205 Live. She debuted in NXT proper on February 22nd, 2022. Is now working Evolve.
>Tatum Paxley: Signed with the company in August 2021, made her televised debut on February 15th, 2022.
>Sol Ruca: Signed with the company in March 2022, made her debut on July 15th.
>Hank Walker: Signed with the company in March 2022, made his televised debut on July 1st.

I reported the izzypedo to the jannies for years here. Even if he was just trolling, too many E-tards stalk their waifus and with Izzy being on the indies, it would be too easy for a schizo to get to her. Nothing ever came of it. Maybe he ate a small ban here or there, but he remained at large posting. These >people are legitimate threats to society.
>>
>>20258745

Not sure if I should count them
>Jessika Carr: Joined WWE as a referre in 2017. Has started to wrestle as Kalyx on Evolve in 2025.
>Lince Dorado: Participated in the 2016 Crusierweight Classic tournament. Signed with the company in July 2016. Debuted on NXT on September 15th, Made his televised main roster debut on WWE Main Event on September 21st. Made his 205 Live debut on December 13th. Released on November 4th, 2021. Re-signed in January 2025, where he works in Evolve and AAA as a wrestler and also a coach/producer. Not sure if he's still considered developmental.
>Shawn Spears: Has done three separate runs in WWE at this point, the first from 2006-2009 (before NXT was a thing and developmental was OVW), the second in NXT as Tye Dillinger from 2013-2017 before going to the main roster from 2017 to 2019, and his current run started on February 27th, 2024. I'm not sure if I should count him because, while he is an on-screen wrestler, I believe he's also working as a coach/producer backstage. So I'm not sure if he's considered developmental as a wrestler.
>Timothy Thatcher: Signed with the company in February 2020, made his televised debut on April 15th. Released from the company on January 5th, 2022. Re-signed with the company as a trainer/producer for the WWE ID program and Evolve in November 2024. Occasionally wrestles on Evolve now. Is now the General Manager of Evolve.

>Josh Briggs
How the fuck is he still here, he's getting released.
>Andre Chase
They clearly don't see him as a main roster guy at this point. He's getting released.
>Wendy Choo
How is she still here for like 3 gimmick changes and no main roster run. She's getting released, even if she's the Evolve Women's Champion now.
>Noam Dar
Too injury prone. Either being released or given a backstage role.
>Charlie Dempsey
Regal's son, will always have a job as long as his dad is there. Don't see him going to the main roster anytime soon.
>Jacy Jayne
Pretty sure she's being moved up to the main roster after Mania.
>Malik Blade
How is he still here. He's getting released.
>Myles Borne
Fucking Vaquer and seems to be getting pushed. Will stay for awhile on NXT.
>Dante Chen
Only still around because Drew Gulak tried to injure him. Will probably be released soon.
>Tony D'Angelo
Thought he was getting released, but just won the NXT Title. Who knows.
>Arianna Grace
Will be released and go back to daddy in TNA. Unfunny shitter.
>Thea Hail
Who cares, release her.
>Fallon Henley
Will probably be called up with the rest of Fatal Influence after Mania.
>Brooks Jensen
How is he still here. He's getting released.
>Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo
Somehow got into Birthright. But I can still see him get released.
>Nikkita Lyons
Only around because she has over a milly Insta followers (95% are black men). She's in Evolve because WWE know she sucks. Will probably be released.
>Tatum Paxley
Probably being moved up to the main roster after Mania.
>Sol Ruca
Is getting sent to the main roster after Mania and given a rocket push.
>Hank Walker
Who cares, release him.
>>
>>
>>20258750
>>20258772
>Jessika Carr
Will probably just go back to reffing and only wrestle as her masked self once in awhile.
>Lince Dorado
Will probably just do stuff in AAA. Maybe occasional matches in NXT or Evolve.
>Shawn Spears
Will just become a backstage coach after he's done wrestling in NXT.
>Timothy Thatcher
Will be around as long as Evolve is still a thing. Will be a backstage trainer too.

Briggs
Chase
Choo
Noam Dar

Most of the cuts are always NXT shitters no one has heard of. Of the main roster
>Creed brothers
>Maxxine
>Sheamus
>All the Wyatts
>Kit Wilson's Jannetty
>Jeff Cobb
>Alexa Bliss (put on a legend contract so she can still sell merch)
>>
The fuck do they need so many trainers and producers for? The PC shitters still can't work and promo for shit, they still get hurt doing basic moves, the WWE match quality is the same mediocre slop it has ever been, but half of the people who work for WWE seem to be ''trainers''.
>>
>>
>>

>>Maxxine

>>Sheamus
Definitely not
>>All the Wyatts

>>Kit Wilson's Jannetty
Nah, he's getting the Jason Jordan treatment
>>Jeff Cobb
Wouldn't surprise me
>>Alexa Bliss (put on a legend contract so she can still sell merch)
Doubtful, but could happen? She doesn't really want to wrestle and sells more merch than most of the roster.
>>
>>20254211
both are over and it would be stupid to cut them. maybe if you had a bunch of bigger guys that the crowd liked, but smaller workers are here to stay because so many of the bigger guys suck. also the average wrestler being smaller than they used to be helps big dudes that are dimes look great, because they can smash and throw little dudes easier.
>>
>>20254279
creed brothers are great in the ring and look super legit. the taller brother is a chad and there's no reason he shouldn't get a chance for a big singles push eventually. it seems like an oversight for them to be this underused and that the writing team can't figure them out. i doubt they have heat or anything.
>>
>>20254780
Creeds would make decent investment prospects. Send 'em to New Japan to see if they learn anything.
War Machine could be cool if they remember when they used to be like before getting slopped and obviously Gargano has some use.

that's a good one. she's really hot, but doesn't stand out at all. and it seems like all her contemporaries (lola, tatum, izzi) have at least moved to actual storylines while karmen has stayed an irregularly featured jobber.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>20256745
they get good reactions when they show up, anon. the writing just seems to not really know what to do with them. i think bo dallas needs to come up with ideas but i'm not sure if he's as creative as bray. i hated bray, but he seemed to have a lot of ideas which probably helped keep the act going for so long.

They have Melo, Trick, Oba, and J'Evon on the main roster now. Crews, Dawkins, and Ford are no longer needed for the diversity quota. The big surprise would be if they dropped Bianca along with Ford. She's overpaid and has been milking medical for her finger for well over a year now, and Lash Legend and Jade Cargill are on the main roster now.

Eric and Ivar are trainers at the PC, they pretty much got a free pass
Thhe Garganos are staying
Waller is literally WWE's media man now
Frye is literally protected by chelsea and haitch, same as Piper
Zoey Stark is Injured, and isn't a rolland case
Nile is staying due to PC stuff, also She, Jordynne and Tiffany are WWE's Fitness Bodybuilding reps

The real question is who is getting promoted to AAA?
>>
>>20255014
TNA is the new OVW for wrestlers to improve.
And is better than NWA's clown fiesta and Jugallos
>>20258772
Thea isn't leaving, she and wren are getting pushes once the callups are done, since last year it was the plan for both, until the callups suddenly froze because of main roster faggotry, see that only now the id and evolve people are getting callups.
>>20258945
Alexa isn't leaving either, the wyatts are pretty much a dead end, so probably sent to AAA since the clowns needs a feud
JC Denteo is going to TNA to improve or staying because coconut nepotism
>>

Shinsuke Nakamura seems like an obvious one? They were prepared to let him go last year so he could wrestle tanahashi until Tony Khan stepped in with Okada. Hasn't had a match on tv since mid feb. was barely used last year. 46 years old.
