Koda and/or the business manager dude put the belts on the IInspiration because 1. they wanted to take the belts off Ober Eats and 2. they thought they would draw for the Vegas show during Mania week. That's why they ran stories about them being big former WWE tag stars. Now for those wondering why they were never announced as AEW wrestlers. it might be because of whatever contracts they signed. They never got an ALL ELITE graphic. They aren't even on the roster page. They have mostly been doing ROH matches where they job. -Good show overall that I felt over delivered based on the card. I think it was the most well rounded of the NA shows this year.

-I "get" the IInspiration now. Austin was literally the first time I had ever seen them, including TV, and I didn't get it then, but the match today showed me that they are a pretty damn great prelim/midcard comedy heel team. Why you would put your belts on them, that I still don't understand, but whatever.

-The new belts look great in person.

-Legit bit on a couple of the near falls in the main event.

-The crowd was grim. No other way to put it. The joshi hardcores were making noise on the floor, but the people who were there to just watch wrestling didn't do much. I felt it dragged the three way down. They went out there and tried to have a five star epic, and it might have been if the crowd willed it to be one, but it just didn't get there. Can confirm this tweet >>20254730. If there's any solace it's that the other shows aren't drawing either. By the time they kicked us out of the meeto there were MAYBE a dozen people lined up for the CMLL show. I can report back with a Stardom number tomorrow. I think it has a lot to do with them announcing the shows like two months after the Collective did. Hopefully the learn from this. The slate of promotions they put together is too good for this to be a one off.

-Hattori vs. Suzume was probably my match of the show. Shame about the rope slip botch. Kaya can go. She's underrated.

-Not much to report about the meeto. It was much better organized and well run this year compared to last year's Vegas show, mostly due to the fact that it was held in the lobby of the theater instead of a broom closet. Attendance was way higher than it was in Austin despite the crowd size. Most of them didn't bring nearly as much merch as they brought to Texas. Hopefully that means they sold a lot in Canada. HIMAWARI did well, and Toga did alright. I was first in line for Hima because I wanted to get a board before she sold out. Other than that it was kind of meh for me personally compared to Texas, mostly because I didn't want to hold up the lines talking people's ear's off. I took a selfie with Kamiyu and she got frustrated with me because I wasn't holding the camera up high enough, so she grabbed it out of my hand and took the pic. We joked about how it was obvious that I didn't do this very often. As I was leaving Namba's table I told her to say hi to Maki for me and she hit me with "Yes, Bucky!" So fail there. We'll see how they do tomorrow. I still have I think six people left to meeto.

-I talked to Ref Mike at the meeto and he said that he received a text from the CyberFight people on the Thursday before the Vancouver show asking if he could make it there to work. I asked if he was officially working for them and he said kind of tongue-in-cheek that he's heard rumors that he'll be going to Tokyo in May. So that's cool.

For me it's Shoko in what is seemingly her pajamas. Why is she infringing on Raku's gimmick.

-Gud meeto. Attendance was solid. 150ish people maybe? There seemed to be a lot of people who didn't go to the show yesterday.

-The entire Stardom crew walked through the meeto while the room was pretty crowded.

-Everyone was in street clothes which ruled. Uta looked like she just rolled out of bed and was wearing pajama bottoms. Namba was in a tight jumper dress that was pure sex.

-Aino remains the undisputed sweetheart champion, she's the best. The steak Misao posted was from Outback and she went with Miyu, Mizuki, and I think she said Raku which is kind of an interesting group. Didn't really get many interesting stories outside of that. I'm wearing a Ram shirt and a few pointed it out (Miu, Misao, Pom). Misao wished me luck on winning the bike auction. That's all I got.
