Thing is, Mark is a genuinely funny dude even in shoot interviews
He has good comedic timing when he tells funny stories about past shoot moments in his career
But that's still different from standing in front of a live crowd and not only telling multiple jokes in a row with no breaks, but also drawing consistent laughs from that crowd and also being judged as funny from anyone who watches a video of it online
You gotta either have genuine comedic talent for that or have really good, loyal, well-paid writers behind the scenes (and even then you still have to be able to deliver your lines well on stage)

All these wrestler comedy shows people like mark and mick foley and Jake Robert's do is just an excuse for fans to give them money to talk about old road stories. It's a stretch to really call it comedy and it's an easy paycheck.
