I think it's sad. He's a product of the times, born into a dysfunctional household, given unrestricted internet access, no role models, no cultural roles to aspire to, surrounded by materialism, eating shitty processed food, parents never involved or simply buying shit, etc.
Then he goes to college and people latch onto him, bully him (rightfully). But I think at the end of the day, as fucked up as he is, he represents something a lot of people see in the modern society and don't want to express.
We've lost a crucial part of ourselves, and this is the kind of shit we've been reduced to as human beings.
And every year there are millions more people who will be born like him, lost souls without any chance at redemption.
It's just the same as why people obsess over serial killers, they express the darker side of our nature that we're alienated from, that we drown out by surrounding ourselves with even more dysfunctional shit to numb the pain.
I studied Chris Chan because I want to find ways to build a culture that prevents people like him from ever existing. I want to see a world where we help invalids likes him are functional members of society, not what he became.

Chris Chan lives a better life than most of Kiwifarms and 4chan combined. The important questions here, that I think are worthy of doing indepth research is asking ourselves how? Literally fucking how did this guy make a relative comeback? I have my theories, I think Chris Chan had a loving relationship with his parents. Yes, it may have been fucking weird and creepy, but it was loving and nurturing, again, not in the traditional sense but you cannot fucking deny both Barb and Bob showed more care and love towards him that the average incel blackpilled mindbroken incel. I fully believe this was the most important and sole factor in Chris turning out relatively ok in the end, better than all the trolls at least. If his parents hadn't been as loving as they were, Chris would have retreated immediately after the first setbacks, but he did the exact opposite.
